Product Marketing AllianceJobs Board

Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to find and apply for product marketing roles on the Product Marketing Jobs Board. This is how we're doing, and how to tell us when we get it wrong.

Last updated 19 October 2026

Version 2026-10-19. This page is a draft awaiting legal review, and it may change before the Product Marketing Jobs Board launches publicly.

Using the Product Marketing Jobs Board

The Product Marketing Jobs Board is run by Product Marketing Alliance Limited. We've built it so that you should be able to:

  • use the board with a keyboard only, including search, the filters and the job preview panel;
  • use every page on a phone-sized screen without scrolling sideways;
  • use it with a screen reader: pages have headings, labelled form fields, a "skip to content" link and descriptive link text;
  • read text with enough colour contrast, including the small labels, which we test automatically.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The Product Marketing Jobs Board is partially compliant with that standard, because of the issues listed below.

Known issues

  • Company links in the "companies hiring" strip. In a pre-release check on 8 October 2026, the accessible names of some company links didn't start with the visible text (WCAG 2.5.3 Label in Name), which can affect voice control. Later checks of the board haven't found it, and we're confirming it's fixed.
  • Bot checks. Some forms use ALTCHA to stop bots: your browser solves a small puzzle in the background, with nothing to see, click or hear, and the result is announced to screen readers. If it ever fails and you can't send the form, email us and we'll help you directly.
  • Employer content. Job descriptions are written by employers or taken from company careers pages, so their structure and wording are outside our control. Employer logos are shown with the company's name as text.
  • Sign in with LinkedIn. Posting a role or using member features needs a LinkedIn sign-in, on LinkedIn's own pages, which we don't control. If it doesn't work for you, email us and we'll find another way.

What to do if you can't use part of the Product Marketing Jobs Board

If you need information in a different format, or you find a problem that isn't listed here, email jobs@productmarketingalliance.com. Tell us the page address and what happened. We'll reply within 5 business days, and if we can't fix something quickly we'll help you another way, for example by sending you the job details or posting a role for you.

Enforcement procedure

The Equality Act 2010 requires organisations that provide services to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people. If you contact us with a complaint and you're not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com. The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) enforces the Equality Act in Great Britain; in Northern Ireland, contact the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (ECNI).

How we tested the Product Marketing Jobs Board

  • On 8 October 2026 we tested every public page type at desktop (1440 pixels) and phone (390 pixels) widths with the automated tool axe-core, against WCAG 2.1 levels A and AA: it found no failures. Lighthouse scored accessibility 100 out of 100 on the board, remote and region pages.
  • On 8 and 9 October 2026 we ran axe-core again, including its best-practice checks, over the new member, intro, talent pool and admin pages: the only issue found was the network bar sitting outside a page landmark. That is fixed: the bar is now a labelled navigation landmark ("The Alliance network").
  • We also checked keyboard use of the filters, search, preview panel, browser Back and Apply, and that no page scrolls sideways on a phone.
  • Automated tools catch only some problems. We haven't yet had a full manual audit or testing with disabled users, and we haven't yet tested against the criteria added in WCAG 2.2.

What we're doing to improve

Every change to the Product Marketing Jobs Board runs automated contrast and structure checks, and new pages are tested with axe-core before release. We'll update this statement when we fix the issues above.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 9 October 2026, based on tests run on 8 and 9 October 2026 by the Product Marketing Jobs Board team. We'll review it at least once a year and whenever we make a major change.
