Product Marketing Mgr DC Sr Staff

You are an ambitious and enthusiastic marketer joining the Enterprise Marketing team, chiefly supporting the efforts for the data center portfolio. You will be a champion for products and solutions differentiated to take share during a time of transformative change in data center networks, security, and operations.

The qualified candidate will anticipate and take initiative to lead marketing strategy and drive execution to accelerate Juniper enterprise revenue in the data center. You are a trusted resource for data center content and conversations, influencing and educating through customer engagement, the social sphere, user groups and communities, analysts and media, and sales and partners.

Responsibilities:


  • Develops marketing strategy and plans that underly go-to-market execution 
  • Directs company-wide storytelling with the ability to translate complex technical features into compelling and memorable stories of customer value / outcomes by audience type
  • Leads launch strategy and execution and guides cross-functional teams in integrated programs to drive pipeline growth, awareness, and market leadership 
  • Creates and delivers persuasive presentations, including executive briefings, analyst briefings, industry events, webcasts, and sales and partner enablement
  • Enables and equips direct and partner sellers to engage across the buyers journey, including activation in the digital and social realms
  • Champions and authors point-of-view content as a subject matter expert—recruits internal and external contributors while ensuring consistent messaging
  • Creates and owns content including presentations, solution briefs, white papers, demos, videos, blogs, bylines, webinars, product datasheets, and sales / partner enablement tools
  • Follows and understands competitors and key movements occurring in the industry to position and differentiate Juniper solutions>


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Experience in setting solution and product marketing strategy, formulating plans and leading activation in the networking market to gain customer mindshare and engaged interest
  • Highly motivated self-starter that takes ownership of initiatives that drive business success, working independently and within a team—get-stuff-done mentality
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; must be organized and dependable; sets deadlines and meets them
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills to conduct market analysis, build insights, and analyze data to inform strategy and execution for market growth
  • Proven execution in leading cross-functional teams and stakeholder management through trusted relationships and consistent engagement, including Product Management, Sales, Technical Marketing, Demand and Field Marketing, AR, PR, Alliance Marketing, Channel Partner Sales and Marketing
  • Strong understanding of data center networking technologies and typical operations, including switching, underlays, overlays, network automation and security with the ability to translate technology to customer value and outcomes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 5+ years experience in data center networking and security marketing for enterprise IT
  • Experience in transformation, especially in sales and marketing activation
  • Experience in expanding market presence and marketing activations to take share
  • Success in building trusted relationships and influencing industry analysts, partners and customers through social media and personal engagement
  • Experience in engaging customers in business conversations and modeling the measurable results of solutions
  • Understanding of today’s transformation in data center operations, including DevOps, NetOps, SecOps, CICD, infrastructure as code, etc.
  • Experience working in or selling to IT organizations
