Product Marketing Manager - Sustainability

Who We’re Looking For:


We are seeking a highly creative, skilled, and motivated Product Marketing Manager to play an important role in shaping the success of Makersite. As part of a growing team, you will be responsible for crafting compelling value propositions, conducting comprehensive competitive research, and championing the voice of the customer. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly evolving industry while working alongside a passionate team of professionals.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Product Value Proposition Development: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and articulate clear value propositions for our product, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer preferences.
  2. Competition Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors, market trends, and regulatory landscapes to identify opportunities and threats, informing strategic decision-making and positioning strategies.
  3. Voice of the Customer: Serve as the primary advocate for customers, gathering insights through surveys, interviews, and market research to drive product enhancements and improve customer satisfaction.
  4. Product Launch Support: Play a key role in the successful launch of new products, developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling messaging, and overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns.
  5. Product Marketing Framework Development: Build and refine the product marketing framework from scratch, establishing best practices, processes, the tools to streamline operations and drive results.
  6. Technical Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of highly technical products, whether in B2B and B2C environments, to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences and drive adoption.


Job Requirements


What you will need:


  • Bachelor´s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field: MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in product marketing, preferably in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment within the supply chain or renewable energy industries.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing product marketing strategies, with a focus on driving growth and market expansion.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling messaging for a diverse audience.
  • Experience working with highly technical products, ideally in the Enterprise SaaS space.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Highly entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation and change.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask effectively.
