đŸ§‘đŸ»â€đŸ’» About the role

First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role, serving as the vital link between our customers, prospects, commercial teams, and our R&D product organization.

Your journey begins with the development of effective go-to-market strategies aimed at driving the adoption of Mews’ financial solutions. You will be instrumental in positioning these solutions within the broader Mews offering, crafting the necessary messaging, and ensuring that we communicate in a language that resonates with our audience.

In this newly established role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape its trajectory while advocating for the importance of product marketing. Collaborating with the rest of the product marketing team and other cross-functional Mewsers, you will paint a clear picture of how our financial solutions drive value and yield strong customer outcomes. Furthermore, you will help shape and prioritize the product development needed to assist our customers in achieving their goals. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Moreover, you’ll use your product marketing expertise to help us deliver against our ambitious targets. Challenging? 100%. Fun? You bet!

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Product Understanding and Positioning

  • Take ownership and craft compelling value positioning for our diverse financial solutions, highlighting their unique advantages.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams to gain a deep understanding of the product roadmap, ensuring that each release is accurately represented in our marketing content and campaign calendars.
  • Develop and maintain positioning documents that align with the product’s feature roadmap, managing the messaging documents that support our various marketing activities.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the fintech and hospitality industry, understanding the technology landscape that empowers hoteliers to succeed.

Marketing and Awareness

  • Drive market awareness, adoption, and growth of our financial solutions by creating unique marketing moments that differentiate us in the market.
  • Initiate and lead campaigns to boost awareness and adoption, partnering with go-to-market colleagues to ensure clear and consistent communication of product messaging across all channels and campaigns.

Collaboration and Support

  • Provide support to your line manager, the Director of Solution Marketing for Fintech, by supporting leadership of the fintech charter internally.
  • Collaborate with other teams to gain a deep understanding of our customers’ needs.
  • Develop sales tools that enable our go-to-market team to understand and effectively communicate our story, bringing the features to life for prospects.
  • Support Product Managers by conducting product and messaging training as needed across team members.

đŸ€ïž You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

  • Minimum Experience: Bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B product marketing, with a proven track record of successful product launches.
  • Industry Experience: Possess experience in SaaS-based software or fintech, which is highly preferred.
  • Growth Experience: Have experience in driving product adoption among existing customers in a B2B environment.
  • Communication Frameworks: Demonstrate a proven ability to create compelling positioning for products in competitive marketplaces.
  • Analytical and Data-Driven: Show diligence in measuring and quantifying the impact of your programs, leveraging data to uncover insights and continually improve your strategies.
  • Lateral Thinking: Show capability in thinking outside the box, generating new ideas, and mobilizing resources needed to bring these ideas to fruition.
  • Organized Self-Starter: Exhibit a track record of delivering in fast-paced environments and comfortable navigating through “white space”.
  • Composure: Display an ease in addressing urgency head-on and handling difficult, ambiguous situations with a clear, cool head and an open mind.
