Product Marketing Manager - Emerging Products (EMEA)

The MuleSoft Product Marketing team is looking for a talented and passionate product marketer to help drive the regionalisation of our go-to-market strategy across our Emerging product portfolio in EMEA. In this role, you will localise and activate product messaging, positioning, and sales plays for our fastest growing products - working across the varied and dynamic regions and communities in EMEA. You must think strategically and execute with a purpose in an exciting technology space. The perfect candidate has the ability to work collaboratively and deliver results in a matrixed environment and enjoys interacting cross-functionally. Responsibilities

  • Drive product marketing GTM in EMEA for our Citizen and Automation products, with the goal to accelerate adoption and revenue growth aligned to annual targets
  • Partner and collaborate with our Global PMM team, local Field Marketing, Field leaders, and Salesforce counterparts to create and deliver high impact regionalised marketing programs and initiatives
  • Champion the voice of customer, delivering actionable insights into the business to shape GTM strategy and drive thought leadership
  • Understand the product functionality as a subject matter authority to provide internal and external product support through the creation of sales training materials
  • Act regionally to ensure content development, creative and global plans are optimised for local marketing
  • Execute programs from planning through delivery to achieve marketing pipeline against the strategic plays for both net-new and add-on business
  • Work with Sales Strategy & Enablement to educate sales and the field teams on marketing programs


Experience/Skills required:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience that can span product marketing, solution engineering, product management, operational roles, consulting, or a related field
  • Solid experience in content creation, public speaking, and regional marketing in the context of enterprise SaaS product
  • Strong communicator with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to develop and deliver effective marketing materials, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning
  • Ability to succeed in a highly de-centralised matrix organisation; ability to influence extended teams without formal line-reporting authority
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective sales training materials, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning
  • Experience with analytics, CRM, Salesforce preferred
  • Experience in dealing with senior leaders plus good networking skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence to pick up and lead new projects
  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and crafting compelling positioning, thought leadership content and sales assets
  • Other European languages a plus (German, French, Dutch, Spanish)
  • MBA a plus (but we also love brilliant people who didn't go to business school)


30 days:

  • Develop a good understanding of the organisation
  • Develop a good understanding of MuleSoft’s business model
  • Develop a good understanding of the Marketing motions globally, focus on Emerging products
  • Develop a good understanding of the Marketing resources available x-functionally
  • Align with Global PMM team
  • Build relationships with local Field and Field Marketing teams
  • Become fully versed in MuleSoft’s reporting version of Salesforce and Tableau
  • Develop a good understanding of our core positioning and messages


60 days:

  • Master our internal processes with little supervision including expenses, budget, planning, and reporting
  • Develop a good understanding of entire Salesforce’s business model beyond MuleSoft
  • Develop a good understanding of our Emerging GTM strategy and priority plays and starting to recommend how each should be localised to be effective in region
  • Develop a good understanding of our existing customer base
  • Develop a good understanding of our existing partner ecosystem (VAR, SI, GSI, ISV)
  • Shadow and support execution of marketing programs
  • Start formulating your plan for the upcoming financial year


90 days:

  • Start executing independently campaigns and activities, including delivering several milestone projects
  • Have your next 3-6 months of plans developed
  • Establish your own ‘personal’ brand and cadence
