THE ROLE:

We’re looking for that special Product Marketer who has the chops and the guts to disrupt the status quo. This role serves as an energizing force partnering with Marketing, Sales and Solution Engineering to bring our technical product positioning, messaging and differentiation to life. As a member of the Product Marketing team, you are the creative genius behind making our product shine in the eyes of our highly technical security buyers and users.


In the fast-paced, high growth and competitive security world in which we live, the best Product Marketers are those that address market and buyer pain by turning complex technical product feature-sets into powerful, compelling stories that drive buyer urgency and action. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:  

  • Create product content aimed at the Security Architect, including demos, videos, whitepapers, blogs and web materials
  • Create sales tools like architecture diagrams, sales scripts, presentations, and demo scripts to be leveraged by the Systems Engineering team
  • Create and articulate competitive differentiation and advantages aimed at winning over the technical decision maker
  • Present at tradeshows, analyst briefings, customer meetings and sales trainings
  • Partner with Systems Engineering to develop demo scenarios, buyer FAQs, and POC best practices
  • Partner with Knowledge Experience team to ensure messaging alignment across customer training courses
  • Partner with Demand Marketing on technical webinars and nurture strategies for active opportunities
  • Partner with Customer Marketing to develop strategies for product adoption campaigns
  • Support sales and sales engineering teams with positioning & messaging and tools


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product marketing or systems engineering
  • B2B SaaS product marketing experience strongly preferred; Security or IT industry experience desired
  • Has product, market and buyer knowledge that's sought after in the organization - subject matter expertise
  • Continuously learns and hones security technology marketing skills - professional development
  • Challenges projects or processes and suggests improvements - constant pursuit of better
  • Networks with security and marketing peers inside and outside the company - brand ambassador
  • Takes ownership of functional and nonfunctional requirements to get it done and do it right
  • Proven acumen in technical and competitive product positioning, messaging and content creation
  • Fanatical about being buyer-centric and customer-first in everything you do
  • Exceptional visual, verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
