Product Marketing Manager

TL;DR


You understand our small business customers and how to speak their lingo! You have an extensive background partnering with marketing and product teams to deliver compelling product messaging and positioning to customers. Your proven track record in product marketing has led to increased new customers, conversions, product engagement, and ultimately the scale of successful startups throughout your career.


What you will own and improve:

  • Communication: Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to communicate and position Trainual as the leading product in our competitive market categories. 
  • Go-To-Market Strategies: Create and execute the communication of new product updates, feature launches, and new integrations to increase product signups, user activation, feature adoption, and ongoing engagement.
  • Building Role Infrastructure: Establish processes and procedures for what a successful Product Marketing Manager looks like at Trainual. This includes developing and executing best practices for customer communication strategies and cross-functional project management.


What you already know:

  • What makes us tick! You have knowledge and understanding of the SaaS space and a deep (we mean DEEP!) love for small businesses. 
  • Expert storytelling. Not just telling why features are great, but creatively positioning in a way to get customers to care about why they are great. You have a grasp on all platforms and mediums to drive campaign success.
  • How to use data analytics to understand and enhance product communication and messaging. You have experience creating marketing efficiencies through numbers and customer trends. 
  • How to drive product adaptability and usability through a creative, automated, and user-friendly customer experience. 
  • How to balance your left brain and right brain to create stunning messaging while getting granular with marketing data and technology.

  • Increase customer acquisition
  • Increase net revenue retention
  • Increase new feature adoption

You’ll be reporting directly to our Director of Marketing, Jami Hartmann, and working closely with our incredible, creative team!
