Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) plays a key role in creating and executing go-to-market strategies and campaigns related to generating sales-qualified leads for HealthStreams Scheduling & Capacity Management products and services. The PMM will report directly to the AVP of Marketing with a dotted line to business leaders (VPs, SVPs). In addition, you will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, Implementations, among others, to facilitate strategic alignment and make sure new business goals are met by demonstrating how HealthStreams Scheduling & Capacity Management products deliver value.


The PMM is expected to play a leading role in developing, managing and executing all marketing initiatives, including but not limited to: marketing plans, marketing budgets, messaging and positioning, buyer insights and overall go-to-market strategies. In addition, the PMM will collaborate with the HealthStreams demand marketing team to execute strategic campaigns that leverage various marketing channels, including email, SEM/SEO, social, advertising, digital initiatives, content, and webinars. You will also drive sales enablement by helping sales nurture leads by creating and managing all sales collateral materials and tools needed to support the sales teams.


Essential Duties Or Responsibilities

• Create the yearly marketing content calendar for your business unit.

• Develop and execute the go-to-market strategies for HealthStreams assigned products and services.

• Assist the AVP of Marketing in creating positioning and messaging standards for all products and solutions in your business unit.

• Be the subject matter expert about your customers journey and how to optimize communications to create good experiences.

• As a strategic thinker, you should be able to make key decisions on the fly and help solve problems with minimal help from the AVP of Marketing.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales Associates and other cross-functional teams to establish strategic direction and influence key stakeholders.

• Leverage digital marketing best practices within your planning and help direct the demand marketing team to maximize fulfillment for all marketing campaigns.

• Drive sales enablement by creating sales assets and tools, as well as emphasize how to communicate the value of our products.

• Leverage data to gather strategic insights and report results on all marketing campaigns.

• Play a key role in the development and execution of marketing initiatives under the direction of the AVP Marketing.

• Contribute to creating, editing and deploying product marketing content that supports the strategic positioning and messaging to ensure consistency.

• Use business intelligence tools (i.e., Pardot, SalesForce, Google Analytics) to present and review results with senior management, adjust budgets and adapt campaign tactics to optimize the delivery of qualified leads.

• Collaborate with the entire marketing department to best leverage HealthStreams assets to the benefit of these products.

• Manage all collateral materials in support of the entire product solution set.

• Assist the AVP of Marketing in creating personas and optimizing the customer journey.

• Expert at market research and competitive analysis.


Job Specifications

• KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A mandatory minimum of 5-7years experience in B2B marketing or SaaS-based company.

• 5+ years experience owning Product Marketing Function

• Degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred.

• Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

• SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills

• Strong computer skills are critical.

• Highly organized and experience with project management

• An individual who can fuse creativity with strategy to craft a compelling story that resonates with the right audience in an impactful way.

• ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Excellent organizational skills with a proven record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and attention to detailed.

• Team player with a willingness to both lead and execute

• An energetic, mature self-starter who efficiently completes tasks in a fast-paced environment and is not afraid of leadership is the perfect candidate.

• The ability to manage relationships internally and externally is expected.
