Product Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a passionate, creative, product marketer to help engage and nurture companies across their journey with Honorlock.


In this role, you’ll define and build Honorlock’s new approach and systems to engage and nurture our corporate audience. You will create and evangelize our value prop, messaging, and sales/marketing enablement specific to the corporate market. This requires the ability to synthesize the corporate customer and market needs, the competitive landscape and continually highlight Honorlock differentiators ensuring revenue and market penetration targets are met. You will drive the corporate market messaging, strategy, and go-to-market activities for Honorlock. The candidate will work across functional groups such as product management, marketing, sales and others, to ensure we are bringing a consistent message of solution value and differentiation to the sales and marketing channels. If this role excites you, join us on our quest.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Messaging – Develop industry positioning and messaging that differentiates Honorlock in the market. Develop an overarching strategy and effective messaging framework that speaks to the needs of enterprise customers in the corporate market.
  • Sales and Marketing enablement – develop highly differentiating industry sales plays and enable sellers to successfully execute them. Work closely with our marketing teams to deliver messaging and marketing content to enable effective demand generation campaigns
  • Content – Develop effective content with a web-first mindset; be responsible for creating and updating industry assets/materials, and support internal and external communications. Collaborate with other stakeholders in the execution of consistent and relevant industry content. Represent Honorlock as a subject matter expert and thought leader in speaking engagements and customer meetings.
  • Market and competitive intelligence – Work closely with the Product team to gather and disseminate competitive information and positions across the organization as well as be the expert on our target markets and buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria.
  • Buyer’s Journey – Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
  • Plan – Develop a marketing plan in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Analysis – Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a product marketing role with a demonstrated ability and passion to learn new technologies
  • Product Marketing in a SaaS/technology company with demonstrated success in planning and executing go-to-market strategies for products 
  • Product marketing experience within one or more industries is a plus. Demonstrated experience in corporate/continuing education, technology certification, HR/hiring services, or healthcare certification/continuing education is desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate solutions in terms of customer value and impact on their business, employees, and customers
  • Demonstrated success in working in a team-based, collaborative environment, and the ability to build relationships and influence outside of authority while leveraging Honorlock expertise and resources
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced growing organization
  • MBA or Bachelor’s degree in business or technology field
  • Pragmatic Institute Certified (PMC) preferred.
