Product Marketing Manager

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be leading the market adoption of our client's products, while you influence their development through collaboration with the product management team and other partners. You'll need to know the product inside and out in order to adjust the tactics needed to drive sales and marketing results. You would be working closely with the Senior Product Marketing Manager across all product marketing functions, such as market intelligence, research, go-to-market, and enablement. Primary Responsibilities of the Product Marketing Manager

  • Staying up-to-date on market intelligence, meaning that you will be able to analyze our client's buyers, who they are, how they buy, and their key buying criteria
  • Collaborating with product management, sales, marketing, and go-to-market partners to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with target demographics
  • Scoping the competition's landscape and how they are positioned
  • Developing a marketing plan for our client's products with your marketing team, while incorporating key activities and budgets to retain existing customers and acquire new customers
  • Understanding and supporting our client's sales and reseller channels, as well as training them on common issues they solve for buyers and users


Main Requirements for the Product Marketing Manager

  • A bachelor's degree in business or marketing
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing
  • A history of utilizing strong analytical skills, meaning that you are able to use both quantitative and qualitative research insights to develop segmentation messaging and positioning that yield efficient go-to-market strategies
  • A solid understanding of collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and Salesforce, as well as marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot, Omniture, and Google Analytics
  • The ability to use data to define a plan and lead efforts from colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • PMC III or higher is a huge plus!
