About the Role
As our first marketing hire, we’re looking for a Product Marketing Lead to accelerate our growth, refine our positioning & bring new products to market. This role will report to the CEO and is a unique opportunity to build modern insurance from the ground up!
We’re a distributed team spread across the US & India, and offices in San Francisco, CA & Columbus, OH. We’re open to candidates in any location.
What You’ll Do
- Drive our GTM strategy and cross-functional execution end-to-end including messaging, positioning, launch planning, sales enablement, and customer adoption
- Build a deep understanding of customers, competitors and industry trends through data-driven insights and research.
- Own our content strategy e.g. blogs, social, video, website, etc., and build engaging content working with external creative resources where needed
- Execute and run multi-channel marketing campaigns to achieve business goals
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape our roadmap
About You
- 4+ years experience, ideally in Product Marketing or related fields. Experience at start-up and/or high-growth environments preferred. MBA is a plus
- Master storyteller - you can craft compelling narratives across different channels
- Excellent communication skills, written & verbal. Must be comfortable presenting to customers and internal audiences.
- Ability to drive complex projects with cross-functional teams on aggressive timelines
- Analytical chops - you make decisions using customer data, business metrics and more
- Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail
- Bias-to-action - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty & do what needs to be done
- Scrappy (and proud of it)
- Owner mentality - take accountability for your actions & results
- Experience with B2B and/or Fintech products is a plus.
