Marketing Campaign and Automation Specialist

Remote
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia +1

The Quantium Product Marketing team is dedicated to being the driving force behind getting our Quantium products to market and keeping them there.

We represent the voice of the customer to our internal stakeholders, and we are the voice of our products back to our customers. We partner closely with our client-facing, product and customer success teams to oversee all customer lifecycle communication from onboarding through to renewals.

We own the positioning and messaging of our products to market and convert technical product features into tangible benefits that enable sales teams. We keep our user community informed and aware of new product and feature developments, driving engagement and value realisation across our offerings.

Quantium is a high-growth company and as such, it makes being in the Product Marketing team a dynamic and exciting place to be. In the last 12 months we've launched new products in existing and new markets, and will continue to do so. We're looking for a campaign and automation specialist to join us on this ever-changing journey!

We're a tight-knit team who have each other's backs. If you get stuck with a piece of copy, want to brainstorm a campaign strategy or need to talk through a HubSpot workflow, there is always someone to listen and help you out. We love a good laugh, and appreciate the art of a perfectly timed GIF (we use Slack as our company messaging platform).

Role summary

Under the direction of Quantium’s Executive Manager, Marketing, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering campaign automation and communication activity for the Marketing team through HubSpot (and occasionally SalesForce). Initially, we will get you focussed on Product Marketing, supporting our growth and retention objectives in our Retail Product portfolio in Australia and New Zealand. Over time, as you settle in and come to speed, your remit will broaden to support other industry verticals and the broader marketing team.

In this role, you will engage and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple areas of the business (product, customer success, consulting, analytics, IT), to maximise the impact of your marketing activities with prospects and clients. You will constantly find new ways to automate manual processes, adding immense value to our teams by finding ways for us to not only unlock more time, but to be able to design campaigns that deliver greater conversion at scale. You will only be limited by your own imagination – if you’ve got an idea, we will support you to test, iterate and improve!

We are looking for a campaign and automation specialist who will draw on previous HubSpot automation experience to take our campaign workflow automation, conversion and optimisation to the next level.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver the monthly Product Marketing customer comms strategy, owning the process end-to-end.
  • Work with the Customer Success and client-facing teams to design and deliver the retention communications strategy for our flagship product, Q.Scan in line with our renewals cycle – these cycles occur twice a year.
  • Be our HubSpot SME for marketing purposes. You will own our HubSpot CRM and customer segmentations as well as be the go-to person to create HubSpot assets (emails, forms, meeting modules, landing pages, social media posts and more) as well as test, deploy and set up HubSpot dashboard reporting so we can show campaign performance and marketing ROI.
  • Help coordinate the publication of marketing content that will feed into your campaigns. Where relevant you’ll be supported by an agency to help you create it. As our Retail products in A/NZ have a well-established presence, there will be a focus on growth – such as lifecycle campaigns across the unique seasonal customer journey to convert, grow and retain our customers and win additional incremental revenue.
  • Support our product teams as and when required to deliver key product updates on the product roadmap, as new reports and functionality is released.

Key activities

  • We’ll start off by getting you to up to speed with how we currently use our systems and tools. Very soon you’ll be able to independently build and deploy HubSpot campaigns for the marketing team (and in time develop your own campaigns that you have overall responsibility for).
  • Monitor existing HubSpot automations and journeys to spot issues and fix errors. You are more than ‘just’ an caretaker – you'll be encouraged to provide input and alternative views if you see an opportunity to improve a process, outcome or customer impact.
  • Draw on data and insights to enhance campaign relevancy and performance.
  • Search and uncover compelling customer case studies to add colour, context, relevancy and endorsement of Quantium and our retail product stories. Deliver these testimonials in a variety of formats and via the optimal channels to amplify these.
  • Over time, acquire a deep understanding of the products, the market segments, customers, and buyer personas, that will inform the marketing and communications strategy.

Experience and education required

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in HubSpot. You're a Microsoft Excel ninja who is going to embrace and know in detail the idiosyncrasies of our marketing tools and how to use them to best effect. Through your marketing campaigns, you’ll be bringing our solutions to life, to get our users clamouring to jump in and use our products. In order to do this, you’ll have a sound understanding of what makes impactful storytelling and strong copywriting skills.

In addition the above, you:

  • Have 3-5 years of practical experience in CRM, automation and campaign management. This could be in either marketing or product marketing.
  • Are resourceful when it comes to HubSpot and you’ll have excellent problem solving skills. Our team does everything it can to foster a psychologically safe space; even though you’ll be our SME, we’ll be here to help, listen or escalate if you’re stuck and need support.
  • Have excellent planning, organisation and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS would be beneficial, but not essential.
