Demand Generation Specialist

The Onshape business unit is a fast-moving start-up-like environment within the greater PTC organization. We are creating the next generation of engineering software TODAY and are building an exceptional team of marketing professionals to help bring it to market. We are looking for a highly motivated Demand Generation Specialist to join the Onshape Demand Generation Team. This is a unique opportunity to join an outstanding team and play a key role in our go-to-market strategy.


This role is responsible for developing, executing, and measuring lead generation campaigns to drive qualified leads into the pipeline for our EMEA commercial business and global enterprise team. This includes creating and launching campaigns across multiple channels, in partnership with internal stakeholders and other marketing team members to increase lead generation and drive business outcomes. Success in this role will include the ability to:

  • Execute effective digital demand and lead generation programs to create a volume of qualified leads for sales
  • Support our account-based marketing program to drive engagement and generate qualified accounts
  • Hands-on experience setting up demand generation campaigns by writing content, pulling contact lists, and analyzing results across different marketing channels
  • Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and make adjustments as needed to optimize results and perform A/B testing with regularity
  • Design automations/workflows that align with campaign strategy
  • Manage marketing contact database hygiene including contact/account relationships, segmentation, customer consent, campaign exclusions, etc.
  • Assist with the research and implementation of any current and future marketing automation/enablement technology
  • Analyze and report results from all outbound campaigns and make recommendations to continually improve metrics including open rates, CTR, leads
  • Maintain knowledge of digital marketing best practices

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work with all levels of marketing staff
  • A highly self-motivated, proactive contributor who works well as an individual and within a team environment
  • Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong prioritization skills with an ability to multi-task

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working in a professional and cross-functional environment
  • A proven track record leading effective lead generation campaigns for B2B
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, Eloqua a plus
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree
