Iodine thrives by delighting our users. Support is a cornerstone of our offering and enables us to cultivate a happy, productive user base. We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help us create demand for our products through effective messaging and marketing programs.

The scope of the Product Marketing Manager role is broken down into four parts:


  • Go to market leadership: Market strategy lays the foundation for market success. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will leverage their in-depth knowledge of target markets and go-to-market processes to coordinate cross-functional teams in launching new product developments. The Sr. PMM will use market research and competitive analysis to contribute to market strategies and criteria for a release.
  • Marketing expertise: In conjunction with the marketing team, the Senior Product Marketing Manager’s goal is to translate product innovations into messaging and programs that drive demand. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you know marketing principles and techniques to create a marketing communication sequence that leads to sales.
  • Product-market fit expertise: In conjunction with the Product Manager, the Senior Product Marketing Manager articulates product positioning that makes value propositions clear. This is further detailed in the messaging which links each feature to a customer-oriented benefit. The Senior Product Marketing Manager applies messaging to enable sales and other teams.
  • Supporting sales: To effectively generate market push, the sales team needs great sales tools. This includes strong product training, a solid product presentation, and a compelling demonstration. A Senior Product Marketing Manager knows what sales tools salespeople need to get their jobs done and what points to emphasize so that the sales pitch is more successful.

What you’ll do:


  • Understand and document the buyer’s journey, including where they get information, and the who, what, when, and why behind the decisions they make.
  • Follow and analyze market trends to position products
  • Competitive intelligence: Be an expert on our competition, how they are positioned, and how they develop over time to empower sales and product teams.
  • Present the product’s value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems.
  • Create product-specific data sheets, promotional publications, presentations, and other collateral, ensuring that product value propositions are clearly and effectively communicated.
  • Administers launch plans for product updates and strategies for increasing market share of existing products
  • Assists in retirement and communication planning for product decommissioning.
  • Evaluates performance of marketing initiatives and revises strategy in response.
  • Develop and deliver product-specific training to sales or sales support teams.

 

What we’d love to see:

Minimum Requirements (Education, certifications and experience):


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience
  • Experience in market analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using collaboration (Slack & Asana) CRM tools (Salesforce), and marketing automation tools (Hubspot).
  • Experience with a competitive intelligence tool (e.g. Crayon, Klue, Kompyte)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Healthcare SaaS experience Preferred
  • Proven track record of success in meeting deadlines
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
  • High level of creativity
  • Copywriting experience a plus
