Vice President, Product Marketing

Remote Chicago, IL

We are looking for a Vice President of Product Marketing who will be responsible for driving the global product marketing strategy for Syndigo. This role will be key in defining the positioning and messaging Syndigo brings to the market.


This role will partner with Product, Commercial and the broader marketing team to establish the product and go-to-market plan. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record with high-growth B2B SaaS companies and demonstrate strong product marketing leadership. They should be prepared to pivot between big picture ideation with the executive team to detailed content reviews in support of the team. This role will report to our SVP Marketing.

Responsibilities:


  • Know the Customer: Deeply understand target personas and segments, how clients buy and users adopt our products and derive value from a combination of sources including voice of the customer, analyst research as well as first and third party research.
  • Differentiate Syndigo: Establish Syndigo’s brand voice, position and differentiation in the market including gathering competitive intelligence, conducting client segmentation, and conducting win-loss analysis.
  • Enable Teams: Build strong internal relationships with all GTM teams and key partners throughout the organization to deliver outcome-based and use case-based value propositions, messaging, and content that align to our corporate messaging, by persona, vertical and in support of our solutions.
  • Drive Product Adoption: Own the development, execution and cross functional collaboration needed to successfully launch roadmap driven and customer centric product/feature and upsell/cross sell campaigns. 
  • Lead the Function: Empower a growing team of high performing product marketers, establish repeatable processes to scale the organization, and set and track agreed upon KPI’s.


Requirements:


  • Proven Leader: Success managing and scaling product marketing teams in high growth B2B or Enterprise SaaS companies. Global experience is a plus.
  • Alignment Driver: Proven track record of successfully working cross organizationally and influencing strategic alignment in fast paced environments to directly impact company growth.
  • Strategic Thinker: An adaptable, energetic, self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven professional that also brings creative energy and courage to think outside of the box. 
  • Client Surrogate: Experience in putting client needs first when creating engaging audience-specific content, including case studies, collateral, presentations, whitepapers, demos and sales playbooks.
  • Effective Communicator: Proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences.
