Technical Product Marketing Manager

Remote

We are looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager who will captivate and evangelize technical audiences with compelling stories that uncover the potential of APIs, SDKs, integrations, and automation in localization workflows and help build a community around our platform. In this position, you will be part of the product marketing team, working closely with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to propel product adoption and usage. If you are a product marketing geek with a crush on technical products, then this is the position for you. 

 

You will:

  • Work with the product and engineering teams to gather customer, market, and competitive insights and use those insights to inform and influence our strategy and roadmap
  • Develop and disseminate product messaging
  • Write product-related stories meant to inspire 
  • Participate in virtual and in-person events both as a speaker and staffing a booth
  • Plan and drive GTM strategy, ensuring launch and campaign coordination, and production of marketing materials like ebooks, blogs, webinars, demos, datasheets, slide decks, sales kits, workflows, infographics, and other similar items
  • Support integrated marketing campaigns, collaborating with demand generation, customer marketing, and social and content teams to drive leads, opportunities, and sales
  • Coach sales teams by leading technical training sessions and providing supporting assets that can help sales reps improve engagement and conversion when engaging with prospects and current customers
  • Be the subject matter expert when it comes to technical personas
  • Demo technical products, features, and integrations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in technical communities both inside and outside Lokalise
  • Work with our technical writers to author and edit blogs
  • Engage with influencers

 

You must have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience marketing products to technical buyers (developers, designers, product managers)
  • A technical background as either a developer, product manager, technical marketer, technical writer, support engineer, product designer, or similar
  • Experience working with and understanding the value of APIs, CLI, SDKs, code repositories, and other developer-centric features
  • Proven experience in B2B SaaS
  • Expertise in product marketing tactics with the ability to demonstrate success in positioning and launching new products
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills
  • An outstanding ability to communicate and convey ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • A growth-driven mindset
  • A desire to work remotely and overlap with GMT+1 by four hours each day

 

It will be considered a significant advantage if you have:

  • Subject matter expertise in the localization and/or software development field 
  • Experience with Asana, Jira, and Confluence
  • Worked on a globally distributed team
  • Remote work experience
