VMware PMM's are business owners who are responsible for supporting the go-to-market initiatives for a product. Successful PMMs build inclusive, cross-functional teams that work together to support the success of our business. The responsibilities require setting the overall vision for product go-to-market strategy, knowing and monitoring key performance indicators, understanding the dynamics of both direct and channel sales, and influencing many teams towards common goals.
This role will be part of a diverse, world-class team, and responsible for nurturing the growth and adoption of VMware solutions on key hyperscaler clouds. Key activities include developing core messaging and storylines to evangelize both cloud-focused products as well as how we leverage our strong cloud services and SaaS (software as a service) portfolio. That will be accomplished through partner enablement, end customer support, content development, blogging, analyst meetings, and industry events. You will also research market size, market potential, and customer buying behavior.
