Sr. Director, Performance Marketing

Are you an experienced marketing leader ready to own full funnel acquisition and retention efforts for our strategic and rapidly accelerating SMB Business Unit. The Sr. Director, Marketing, may be the perfect role for you. You’ll get to build and lead a team of performance marketers focused on the development and execution of ROI-based demand generation programs that help Lytx achieve growth objectives. You’ll leverage new and existing channels to build the pipeline for rapidly growing sales teams, including inside and field sales. You should know, this is a highly visible role; you’ll share accountability for meeting our net new, cross-sell and upsell revenue targets and you’ll report directly into our EVP and General Manager of SMB. If you have a strong success record of building measurable demand for B2B companies, and know how to target multiple B2B buyers across segments, you’re an ideal candidate. As Sr. Director, Marketing:

You’ll get to:


  • Develop the strategy and oversee the execution of all marketing efforts for our SMB, and as a member of the SMB leadership team, work closely with cross functional peers in sales, operations, customer success, sales ops, etc.
  • Build your own team and create a world-class marketing organization.
  • Formulate and continually improve the marketing mix with a variety of lead generation channels including but not limited, to email campaigns, SEM, content marketing and syndication, social media, digital advertising, nurture programs, events, trade shows, and webinars to optimize marketing’s contribution to the pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Sales to determine the ideal tactics, programs, events and communications to persuade key personas to purchase from Lytx, supporting pipeline acceleration.
  • Architect and deliver customer marketing campaigns to drive retention and growth of our existing customer base.
  • Partner with SMB General Manager and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategy, resources, and KPIs.
  • Leverage all performance data to inform the marketing mix and messaging and content strategy.
  • Actively measure and track engagement, lead volume, and sales funnel conversion rates; proactively test and optimize programs to improve performance and identify new channels.
  • Oversee the development of quarterly measurable multi-channel program plans that will ensure we hit our revenue goals.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:


  • Bachelor’s degree; Masters or MBA is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience in B2B marketing with an emphasis on developing quant-first digital and demand generation strategies.
  • Demonstrated results driving pipeline and revenue through marketing programs for high-growth B2B companies in the SaaS or technology verticals.
  • Experience building, scaling and retaining diverse teams that have driven results for the business.
  • A strong understanding of the Marketing and Sales funnel and related Marketing and Sales technologies, processes and tools.
  • A growth and data-driven mindset, with proven expertise in testing and measurement strategies, methodologies, and tools.
  • Comfortable working with Sales to align on prospecting priorities to drive desired results, as well as troubleshoot points of friction and build creative solutions and recommendations
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including modeling, forecasting and complex performance analysis.
