Solutions Marketing Manager

Position Overview:

As Solution Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for a large portfolio of solutions in the Cloud, Infrastructure (C&I) business and will own the overall messaging strategy, campaign strategy, content strategy and go-to-market programs that help drive and achieve Unisys short and long-term goals. You will report to the Director of Solution Marketing for C&I and own identifying customer market requirements, and delivering clear and unique positioning and messaging.

Working with the C&I solution/product management team, you will use your industry experience to identify the solution capabilities as well as non-technical differentiators that can be used to market to clients and prospects and drive awareness and demand. Additionally, you will work closely with a cross-functional marketing team to define the GTM strategy, craft demand generation campaigns, drive the content strategy, and design sales enablement tools and trainings for our internal audience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Messaging: Own the Unisys cloud solutions and services storytelling to various personas across the different global markets and market segments. You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive messaging framework for each solution including customer needs, target markets, value proposition, differentiators, use cases, and supporting client stories.

· Content strategy: Work closely with the Unisys Content Marketing team to develop a broad range of external-facing content which resonates throughout the buyers’ journey and communicates Unisys’s key value and differentiators.

· Public Relations: Collaborate with Unisys PR to develop press releases, blogs, bylines, and thought leadership content that help increase awareness

· Analyst RelationsPartner with the Unisys AR team to help educate influencers on the Unisys value proposition and ensures Unisys a strong position in key analyst evaluations.

· Digital marketingWork with the Unisys Digital marketing team to help design, test, and activate the perfect blend of owned, paid and earned media for all campaigns relevant to your market space.

· Demand Generation: Collaborate with the Unisys Campaign team and regional sales leaders to craft integrated demand generation campaigns plans.

· Sales enablementWork closely with Unisys Sales Enablement to develop the appropriate sales tools, and to educate the direct sales and partner sales teams on the latest messaging and positioning respective to trends, cross-portfolio topics, and verticals.

· Partner marketing: Work with Unisys Partner Marketing to help identify and articulate common value propositions and co-marketing activities that will help grow the business through our strategic alliances and channel partners.

Key Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, marketing or equivalent (MBA highly desired)

· At least 5 years of integrated product/solution marketing experience in B2B and high-tech segments.

· General familiarity with how enterprise organizations are using/adopting cloud/SaaS technologies, virtual platforms, and transforming enterprise IT is required --- IT background a plus.

· Passion for understanding customer needs and using customer insights to drive effective and engaging content

· Proven track record of developing marketing plans and programs that drive growth and new customers.

· Great written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact written communications and presentations. Ability to take complex technology and describe its business value through compelling content creation. A keen understanding of enterprise IT sales cycles and the ability to build content pertaining to each stage of the customer journey

· Project management skills with the ability to own/drive projects to close. Successful at managing stakeholders at all levels of an organization (including senior executives), as well as media, partners, customers, and analysts

· Entrepreneurial self-starter with discipline for setting goals and metrics, driving decisions, and getting closure on recommendations and issues

· Energy, motivation, and commitment to drive to results in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work, problem-solve and thrive in an unstructured environment

· Self-starter who can lead strategic and practical conversations with internal clients and leaders.

· Technical marketing skills, product knowledge and technical aptitude and experience

· Enterprise B2B sales experience a plus

· Marketing collateral design and graphics development experience (HTML, Adobe Illustrator/InDesign, etc.) a plus
