Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mobile Security

Remote Minneapolis, MN

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mobile Security will be responsible for defining the value proposition for our mobile security product line - Jamf Threat Defense, Jamf Data Policy and Jamf Private Access, collecting market intelligence and translating that into marketing collateral, messaging, sales enablement tools and executive presentations. The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mobile Security will be an expert in buyers, how they buy, their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge across multiple internal teams.


Responsibilities

  • Messaging – develop insight-driven product positioning and messaging that differentiates Jamf in the market in collaboration with other teams. Consistently refine positioning based on market feedback. 
  • Intelligence - be the expert on the market, our market segments, the buyers – including personas, how they buy and their buying criteria – and our competition. Be seen as the subject matter expert for this intelligence and share it regularly in the context of the competition.
  • Enablement – collaborate with marketing and sales to create and deliver tools (e.g., battlecards, pitch decks, competitive intelligence, etc.) and training that help sales and customer-facing teams effectively communicate the value proposition of Jamf, move prospects through the buyer journey, win deals and achieve the market’s business goals.
  • Product launch – establish market launch goals, coordinate the market launches, product releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan. Consistently evaluate launch success and adjust approach based on market feedback. 
  • Awareness and demand generation – collaborate with marketing to develop the go to market strategy for your market segment. Support the marketing campaigns and programs that build awareness and drive demand for Jamf.
  • Assets – Support the creation of product and industry-related marketing assets such as white papers, collateral, videos, case studies, presentations, blog/social topics, and more in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Events – support and present at Jamf events, webinars, industry events and internally to educate, build awareness and position Jamf.
  • Cross-functional collaboration – build strong relationships with product strategy, product management, marketing, sales/account management team, customer support and other internal teams.
  • Product Management support – provide product management with intelligence and support to aid their definition of our product roadmap and pricing strategies.
  • Data analysis - Synthesizes data from a variety of sources to produce and communicate a compelling vision for QBRs, board meetings, marketing planning, etc. and participates in executive strategy sessions.
  • Executive projects - Manage strategic, highly visible, cross-functional projects that impact Jamf’s business. Examples include launching a new software tool, win/loss program or a new customer advisory board. 
  • Analyst relations - Build relationships with key market analysts, conduct briefings and secure favorable mentions of Jamf in analyst publications. Support media relations as needed.
  • Managing – manage a product marketing specialist by coaching and developing their personal growth.

 

Skills & Requirements

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related major (Required)
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • Pragmatic Marketing certification or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of sale or marketing experience in high tech, B2B industry (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of mobile security landscape, including familiarity with strategic market categories of mobile threat defense and zero trust network access (Required) 
  • Strong knowledge of Jamf mobile security products, including Jamf Threat Defense, Jamf Private Access and Jamf Data Policy (Preferred) 
  • Strong public speaker with demonstrated success presenting in a variety of formats to large audiences (Preferred)
  • Strong project management skills. Anticipates and solves conflicts or dependencies with project deadlines and deliverables. (Preferred)
  • Track record of success driving outcomes across organizations with multiple stakeholders (Preferred)
  • Experience working with key internal teams and customers to assess and define market needs (Preferred)
  • Experience with video editing tools (Camtasia, Screenflow, etc.) (Preferred)
  • Experience with Apple tools Keynote and Pages (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of the Apple ecosystem (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of device management ecosystem (Preferred)
