Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team and support a product suite that is working to advance data ethics and enable privacy compliance for the digital marketing ecosystem. We work with large global brands to mitigate privacy compliance risk and optimize revenue.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and working closely with the CRO and SVP of Product on key tasks, you will collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams at Sourcepoint to own the development and execution of the sales enablement process. In this role, you will achieve a deep understanding of Sourcepoint technology, developing expert-level knowledge of feature and functionality capabilities, and serve as the central owner of translation of those capabilities to solutions that are packaged and digestible for Sales, and which resonate with buyer personas. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead go-to-market strategies for Sourcepoint’s data privacy software suite, including positioning, product-market fit analysis, pricing, buyer persona analysis, and sales enablement in partnership with Marketing.
  • Create a clear, compelling articulation of value proposition, USPs, and overall benefits informed by customer research and competitive analysis. 
  • Manage the product launch cycle, partnering closely with Product, Demand Generation and Content Marketing to bring new features to market, as well as develop a methodology for segmenting different types of releases.
  • Serve as a company expert on the competitive landscape, developing competitive overviews and battlecards to keep Product/Sales teams informed about changes and unique selling points; surface new features that enable Sourcepoint to stay ahead of the competition.   
  • Create, maintain and educate the Sales team with key assets, such as pitch decks, demo scripts, proposal templates, and other product content. Continuously update to address objections, market shifts, etc.
  • Develop internal enablement materials that help Sales articulate Sourcepoint's value proposition to appropriate targets, including playbooks with ideal customer profile and buyer persona guides.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the progress against Product Marketing program goals and ROI, with accountability for attaining goals relating to new customer acquisition, product adoption, and revenue.
  • Conduct customer and competitive research; share findings with internal stakeholders and use insights to inform product marketing strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience unpacking highly complex technical and business-oriented concepts into easily understood frameworks that stakeholders (internal and external) can easily understand
  • Prior experience with project management and virtual team leadership 
  • Prior experience writing strategic plans (e.g., market strategy, launch plans) that influence and align diverse stakeholders 
  • Passion for data ethics and the privacy space and can speak authoritatively about the evolving privacy landscape 
  • Demonstrable ability to enable sales teams
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment with an ability to stretch from strategic thinking to the details of execution 

Nice to haves

  • MBA or business degree preferred
  • Background in analytics and data analysis 
  • Experience with Pardot and Salesforce
