E-commerce Product Marketing, Sr. Manager


Location:  Austin, TX preferred


Job Summary:

Saatva launched in 2011 and we are still growing rapidly, pacing above 50% YOY. Product growth is a pivotal part of our growth strategy. We’re looking for a bright, passionate, and hardworking Product Marketer to drive our positioning strategy for our growing product lines - from mattresses to foundations, bedding, accessories and more. This is an ownership role and will have excellent growth potential as our e-commerce business grows.  This role will report to our Director, Strategy and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own our efforts to position products from start to finish to maximize for user growth, revenue, and profit. 
  • Study company brands, products and audiences
  • Follow and analyze market and competitive trends to position our brand and products
  • Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launches) to drive maximum revenue and profitability
  • Craft compelling messages across marketing channels, landing pages or site properties
  • Manage positioning roadmap, including testing and sale calendars
  • Work with various teams (Creative, Content, Product, Channel Marketing) to ideate and implement strategies
  • Ideate, test and iterate ad copy, landing pages and other aspects of the customer experience to maximize revenue and profitability through optimal messaging and positioning
  • Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers
  • Continually test and learn. Work with the team to create hypotheses, structure smart tests, and advance initiatives that work.


Requirements 

  • Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Product Owner or similar role
  • Experience in e-commerce product marketing is a huge plus
  • Background in design and copywriting is a plus
  • Experience in market analysis
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Creativity
  • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or similar field


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of product positioning and writing experience. Digital marketing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research tactics to be able to oversee initiatives such as pricing and customer segmentation
  • Strong project management experience, driving company-wide initiatives across departments
  • Expertise in experimentation or iterative development a plus
  • Passionate about the Saatva mission.
