Senior Product Marketing Manager

We have an opportunity for a Senior Product Marketing Manager role to join our Marketing Team.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be essential in establishing a strategic product marketing practice at PressReader. In collaboration with Marketing leadership and Vertical leads, you will be responsible for our go-to-market strategy including messaging and positioning, launch execution, and pricing & branding for business verticals. You will be leading product launches to educate customers on new capabilities, creating compelling content/campaigns to help customers understand key use cases, crafting highly differentiated messaging and building the right marketing programs to drive customer, sales and partner engagement.

 

In this role, you will:

·        Be the expert of our products and how PressReader uniquely provides value to each market

·        Analyze the competitive and customer landscape and summarize insights to enable the vertical leads to effectively position our products in each market in which we operate

·        Maximize PressReader by leading our Pricing/Branding strategy, messaging, and decision-making process as we develop new product offerings, in collaboration with leaders

·        Become a key partner to the product management and engineering teams by championing the voice of the customer

·        Evangelize internal teams to launch key features and products to the market, including building sales plans, campaigns, briefings and a launch plan

·        Define the customer journey of priority segment and ensure that campaigns/collateral are aligned to the buying cycle

·        Plan and execute go-to-market projects including close alignment with marketing managers, product management, brand, demand generation, and vertical leads

·        Establish an effective collaboration with our creative team, ensuring that our launch materials are highly engaging and interactive for maximum impact

·        Be an external and internal thought leader about the market, contributing regularly on the company’s blog and other social media outlets

 

You are a great fit if you have:

·        5+ years of experience in product marketing; you understand positioning, segmentation, targeting and building customer journey, marketing mix

·        The ability to connect technical concepts with customer value and express them concisely

·        Demonstrable experience in bringing products to market and driving adoption

·        A passion for doing research & analysis and summarize insights

·        Effective communication skills that allow you to clearly convey thoughts, both written and verbally; You articulate complex ideas and concepts that make them easy to grasp by every audience

·        The ability to work effectively with ambiguity. You can cope with change, and thrive on finding ways to advance work and projects

·        A creative and agile approach with a strong strategic mindset

·        Strong collaborative skills that help you deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing group needs over individual ones

·        A good understanding of how to gaining support & commitment from others and creating momentum

Bonus points if you:

·        Have adjacent marketing experience in creative strategy, research and growth marketing

·        Have project management experience

·        Launched successful products, particularly in the tech sector

·        Have a strong interest in the technology sector

 

This role is a full-time position based in our Richmond, BC office. Working from home is available during the Covid pandemic and we are actively considering and trialing hybrid solutions post-pandemic.
