Senior Product Marketer

Remote (United States)

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketer to join us on our mission to put more money into the pockets of independents everywhere.


You will be a key member of the organization, working collaboratively across multiple departments (Growth, Marketing, Product). Your role will be to clearly and creatively articulate the value of the Wethos platform across all distribution channels to drive increases in acquisition, activation, and user engagement.


You will be responsible for:

  • Testing and refining value propositions across different user segments and feature sets
  • Working with our Design team to experiment and optimize conversion to improve our growing user base’s experience on our platform
  • Leading ideation and execution of product drops and/or digital experiences that leverage pricing data to drive growth. Think Zillow Zestimate!
  • Maintaining SEO optimizations across our product and owned properties whenever possible. Flagging features that could help increase our ranking against relevant keywords is a major bonus!
  • Operating at the intersection of our Growth, Marketing, and Product teams, effectively communicating across departments and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Working with our Social Media & Content Coordinator to maintain weekly or monthly content creation, finding and vetting additional resources to expand our content production capacity
  • Continuously mapping the user journey, while identifying and alleviating customer pain points to determine opportune messaging moments that will increase product adoption
  • We ship every two weeks, so you’ll formalize a process around creating, managing and testing feature release announcements, from existing user engagement to new user acquisition.
  • Conducting large-scale market research to understand what our customer base likes and/or dislikes about our product and identify opportunities for expanding market share
  • Collaborating with our Design and Product teams to ensure all marketing materials are well-maintained, including website and product copy, and in-app messages
  • Reporting on product marketing success while proactively identifying areas of user confusion or barriers to adoption to help improve our product
  • Leading go-to-market strategies, including key messaging development and tactical channel plans, ensuring that all customer-facing communication is consistent and maximizing each channel


This role is for you if you have:

  • 2-4 years of product marketing experience, specifically within fintech or consumer applications
  • 2+ years experience managing a marketing or content team
  • A history of success increasing product adoption for a product-led growth company
  • Experience working across diverse, cross-disciplinary teams in Growth, CX, and Product
  • Command of Google Analytics and other performance marketing tools
  • The ability to work in a start-up environment (range of tasks, ambiguity, flexibility) while still exercising and implementing standard professional processes and systems
  • A strong commitment to Wethos’ mission and vision
  • An energetic, hard-working, and collaborative mentality
  • A reputation for being an independent, organized, and detail-oriented teammate


Salary

This is a "Tier 3 - Senior Manager/Strategist or Lead" position at Wethos, which means we'll expect you to demonstrate leadership, be invested in charting your own course, and make a big impact. This position has a salary range of $90K-122K, but the final salary will depend on your experience and expertise.
