Cohere Health is illuminating healthcare for patients, their doctors, and all those who are important in a patient’s healthcare experience, both in and out of the doctors office. Founded in August, 2019, we are obsessed with eliminating wasteful friction patients and doctors experience in areas that have nothing to do with health and treatment, particularly for diagnoses that require expensive procedures or medications. To that end, we build software that is expressly designed to ensure the appropriate plan of care is understood and expeditiously approved, so that patients and doctors can focus on health, rather than payment or administrative hassles.

We’ve grown extremely fast, and with substantial venture capital backing. As a result, in less than two years we’ve been able to successfully launch our flagship products and implementations. Now we’re ready to significantly grow our marketing team.

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of product marketing strategies for Cohere Health’s health insurance plan solution portfolio. Reporting to the Director, Product Marketing, you will use your deep project management skills to work across the organization, including our Growth, Product, Implementation and Customer Service teams, to help develop/refine uniquely differentiating value propositions for our solutions; create and optimize content that drives awareness, thought leadership and qualified leads; and lead our sales enablement activities. The work will be fast-paced - requiring scrappiness, flexibility, curiosity, and grace under pressure.  

What you will do:


  • Own the successful development and execution of all tasks associated with content development, as well as website, positioning, sales enablement, product launch, and special projects as assigned. Work collaboratively and transparently with internal constituents, including Growth, Product, Implementation and Customer Service teams, to drive project execution. Contribute to the strategy development that determines execution priorities.
  • Drive content development projects to timely, high-quality conclusion, including thought leadership and sales enablement collateral such as sell sheets, pitch decks, white papers, videos, podcasts, blogs and other media. Lead relationships with all internal and external content creators, including graphic designers and writers.
  • Lead ongoing website development projects, including translation of emerging positioning into web site assets, content deliverables, and site infrastructure deliverables. Lead relationships with external web development partners.
  • Craft and continuously refine our positioning and messaging based on market research, cross-company input and collaboration.
  • Plan the launches of new products and releases for existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Understand and support our sales team - train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users, help develop sales tools, and serve as the main contact on the marketing team for sales team needs.
  • Be the expert on our target markets & buyers - who they are, their needs and their buying criteria.
  • Be the expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
  • Be accountable to team, department and company OKRs.

 

Your background and characteristics:


  • 5+ years of B2B product marketing experience in a healthcare technology/product environment, healthcare insurance a plus.
  • Experience and demonstrated excellence in project management, particularly for content development, including a proactive approach, ability to lead cross-functional teams and a tenacious approach to managing timely, quality deliverables.
  • Experience launching a technology product to market, including the dynamics of a Business to Business to Consumer (B2B2C) model.
  • Excellent written communicator and storyteller, who while not a professional designer, has a natural skill set for creating well-written and well-designed marketing collateral.
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical problem solving in addition to project management.
  • Ability to turn complex clinical, technology and data science concepts into clear, crisp communications.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, flexible, and not afraid to take ownership and initiative while working and leading in a cross-functional role
  • 4-year degree in marketing, business or similar experience

  • MBA; Consulting experience is a plus
  • Expertise in value-based care, population health or other healthcare care management technology products
  • Understanding of the healthcare stakeholders – payer, provider and patient
  • Proficiency in Asana, Jira and/or other modern project management tools
