Product Marketing Specialist

Globalscape is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to support our Product Marketing Team’s activities across the organization. Our team leverages Marketing best practices and product expertise to help drive product strategy, development and execution of go-to-market plans, internal launch readiness, and sales enablement.

As Globalscape’s Product Marketing Specialist you will;

  • Translate technical documentation into consumable marketing and sales enablement material
  • Collect, review, and analyze market research data pertaining to our product and competitor’s
  • Provide strategic guidance to marketing, sales, and product development team using market research data
  • Prioritize feedback/ideas based on robust data and build business cases in order to embed requests within Product Managements product roadmaps
  • Identify gaps in our portfolio, prioritize initiatives and effectively build consensus / conclusions with the team
  • Develop strategic marketing plans, oversee its implementation, and ensure all product marketing projects adhere to company messaging guidelines
  • Designs multi-media marketing plans presenting the product and sales initiatives to keep individuals working to sell it on the message
  • Studies sales and consumer response data and adjusts existing plans and/or designs new marketing approaches
  • Work with our Vendors, Globalscape’s Sales Representatives, Marketing team, and our Customers to gather feedback and create content to enable the sale and support of our products
  • Work with the branding team to adjust messaging and positioning as needed
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage launch, activation, and adoption activities for key product features and platform changes
  • Create new content in the form of data sheets, whitepapers, use cases, infographics, and sales enablement collateral to support marketing and product initiatives
  • Produce quarterly win-loss analysis reports & slide deck presentations as well as presenting to Senior Leadership


To be successful, the ideal candidate must be creative, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating and driving consensus cross-functionally and interacting with Executive Leadership.

  • 2-5 years of experience working within the Marketing field
  • Expert level experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven Technical and Creative Writing skills
  • Graphic Design skills
  • Ability to conduct technical product trainings
  • A deep understanding of Networking, Information Security, Cybersecurity
  • 4 year college degree with a focus in creative writing, technical writing, and /or technology, computer science
