Product Marketing Manager / Senior Product Marketing Manager

Remote Westwood, MA

In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and launching a critical PLG product in our talent optimization platform. You will be embedded in our product teams to develop and share key market and customer insights, influence roadmapping and planning conversations, and build a Go-to-Market strategy. You will serve as the glue between research, product management, GTM teams, and release management and you will provide messaging and positioning for our products that act as the foundation for release campaigns.

 

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Drive and influence key decisions on the Platform and Services teams using market research, persona research, and other key insights
  • Craft the messaging and positioning that clearly define the value proposition for a key SaaS product in our platform
  • Develop the GTM strategy and influence the strategy to find and acquire new users
  • Ensure user feedback drives the product roadmap by championing key market research, job-to-be-done, and persona messaging
  • Conduct competitive and feature research to inform marketing, sales, and product strategy
  • Own feature messaging and in-product copy to drive client adoption
  • Act as the liaison between key stakeholders to communicate critical details, decisions, and deliver communication plans to stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and manage handoffs of key messaging and positioning to the Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams.
  • Act as a megaphone for product, supporting efforts to evangelize the product internally and drive product-led growth

  • Prior experience in a product marketing role, whether as a generalist or specialist.
  • Demonstrated success positioning and messaging complex products to different customer types.
  • Change agent willing to experiment, learn, and pivot by making data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across departments on behalf of the customer.
  • Navigate a changing, complex environment and move quickly to solve problems.
  • Experience communicating effectively at all levels from customer to C-suite.
  • Experience in HR software is a plus, but not required.
