Product Marketing Manager - Sales Enablement and Competitive Intelligence

We are looking for an exceptional Product Marketing Manager on our team to focus specifically on Sales Enablement and Competitive Positioning. This individual will take the lead in building out a world-class sales enablement function including helping our sales teams understand how we compete against our competitors globally. You will partner with other members of the product marketing team to understand our needs and set priorities. As a global role, you will develop, own, and execute a comprehensive sales enablement plan across sales regions, segments (SDRs, Inside sales, enterprise sales) and vertical sales teams.

You will be a product champion, owning and executing a broad set of marketing activities including development of sales playbooks, product and vertical battlecards, call scripts, and competitive battlecards. The Product Marketing Manager will play a key role in creating and communicating the positioning, value propositions and messaging for all of Clickatell’s solutions to the sales teams. You will also be responsible for the rollout, management, and adoption of our sales enablement and competitive intelligence platforms.


This position reports to the Vice President of Product Marketing, and is located in the US.

Requirements

You are an analytical, creative, and action-oriented self-starter with strong communication skills. You are passionate about aligning ground breaking mobile and payment technologies with the business needs of enterprise customers worldwide. And you like challenges, a focused and fast pace work environment, and collaborating across teams to meet and exceed your goals. The ideal candidate would have product marketing experience with enterprise software products.

  • Demonstrable experience in launching new B2B products and solutions preferably technology based and to global audiences ideally gained through 5+ years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or marketing working in a technology company
  • Work closely with sales leadership and sales to understand their enablement needs and build a plan to support them. Act as “voice of sales” to the product marketing team by partnering with product marketing and vertical marketing managers to understand product and vertical strategy and how to align enablement activities to support launches and new product initiatives.
  • Own and create all internal sales tools including sales playbooks, battlecards, call scripts, qualifying questions, objection handling, etc. in collaboration with product marketing managers and other marketing teams
  • Manage our sales enablement platform ensuring that content is organized and easy to find. Work across the organization as an ambassador for the platform to ensure completeness of content including identifying gaps. Manage and drive adoption of the platform.
  • Be an expert with respect to the competitive marketplace for specific product and verticals; develop communication strategy for competitive updates internally.
