Product Marketing Manager (PMM)

Within Amadeus’ Airport and Airline Operations business line, the Product Marketing Manager will join a team of Product Marketing Managers working on the Future of Delivery Management. The Product Marketing Manager will report to the Product Marketing Management lead and will support different Product Marketing activities along the Product Lifecycle process.


Specific accountabilities:

•Understand market and customers

•Describe the market dynamics (e.g., trends, regulations, estimating TAM)

•Describe the competitive landscape and potential implications for product strategy

•Recommend potential messaging, as well as the features and functionality required

•Suggest potential approaches to go-to-market, market risks and market viability

•Describe market needs to Product Managers (e.g., solution, feature, value prop, messaging, channels)

•Support development of product strategy

•Provide input for the overall strategy and vision: high-level requirements, initial as-is to-be journey, early product feature, business canvas, partner consideration 

•Responsible for the strategic pricing of products, billing model checks and business case, collaborating with Product Managers        

•Customer discovery

•Responsible for creating and maintaining user personas and gathering feedback from customers.

•Highlight implications of changes in the product roadmap for customer value prop/messaging, as well as implications for local market needs.

•Support the PM with customer product feedback, full as-is /to-be journey, agreed feature list, and pilot definition amongst others

•Measure and scale

•Create external-facing product features and use case descriptions

•Create market-facing messaging, consistent with value prop and go-to-market strategy

•Drive communications and upskilling programs to sales organization


About the ideal candidate

•Significant work experience (>6/7 years) in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Strategy or Strategic Marketing roles, preferably in the IT industry

•Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills

•Strong analytical skills

•Ability to present complex content in a simple and clear way

•Results-oriented and problem-solving mindset

•Knowledge and execution of the entire Product Marketing process

•Flexible and adaptable, able to work in a complex and evolving environment

•Excellent English verbal & written communication skills

•Understanding of Airline and/or Airport business & Amadeus internal network is a strong asset
