Product Marketing Manager, Industry Verticals

We are looking for a Product Marketer who is ready to come in and execute with a general manager’s mindset for their area of focus. Successful Product Marketers at Hologram are inherently curious, with strong customer empathy, creative problem-solving ability, research, synthesis, and analytical skills. They understand the needs and goals of the overall business and how their work drives growth for the company. They are constantly identifying new opportunities, uncovering unforeseen gaps, and proposing innovative solutions. 


About This Role

As Product Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for the go-to-market success of our products and services and our top priority industries. We will look to you for strategic planning and recommendations, messaging and content creation for Marketing and Sales, and market and competitive expertise. This role reports to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and will work closely with the marketing team as well as coordinate with colleagues from the product, sales, and customer success teams.

What you'll do:


  • Assist with the go-to-market strategy on the Product Marketing team for our top industries
  • Represent the voice of the buyer:
  • Through research and observation - assist in develop and articulate the changing definition of our buyer and ideal customer profile (ICP)
  • Understand segmentation and the buying journey
  • Lead the organization as the subject matter expert for our target industries and create plans and messaging that will create the biggest impact in the market
  • Contribute to pricing and packaging recommendations
  • Bring the product to life in our industry messaging
  • Translate our product positioning into impactful messaging for our target industries to be used in marketing campaigns and by the Revenue org teams
  • Using your knowledge of our target industries, define key storylines and themes that the GTM teams should prioritize
  • Showcase our competitive differentiators in actionable insights and positioning
  • Build and contribute to Playbooks for Sales and Customer Success
  • Partner with teams across the organization
  • You will represent our key industries, and Product Marketing, in cross-functional teams across the company
  • Develop strong partnerships and feedback loops
  • Present strategic recommendations to the executive team
  • Lead from the front
  • Identify key strategic moves for the organization
  • Uncover new opportunities and risks and incorporate them into your strategic plan


Helpful skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience, and at least 2 years of PMM experience in B2B SaaS Product Marketing/ Product Management
  • Experience working on a launch for new products and features 
  • Field enablement and working directly with Sales/ CS teams
  • Partnership with Product Management - or working in close proximity
  • Competitive Intelligence and/ or market research
  • Experience in growth mode start ups/ post seed stage companies
