Product Marketing Manager

Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team and help us deliver intuitive and delightful experiences to our prospects and customers. Reporting into the VP of Product and Customer Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will be the go-to-market expert on our product, competition and customers. You will help shape Spiff’s brand by articulating the business value of our products and differentiating them through creative positioning and close collaboration with all parts of Customer Success, Product, Marketing and Sales. The ideal candidate is someone who loves to make an impact, is creative but analytical, can build a strategic approach to drive results while also executing on the strategy, and has a roll-up-your-sleeves and get-it-done attitude.



What you’ll contribute in this role:

  • Build, lead and execute Go-To-Market product marketing plans and be responsible for execution of revenue generation initiatives
  • Create communication and marketing plans for the launch of new products, features, and releases
  • Develop product positioning and messaging and communicate its value proposition to the customer and internal teams including sales, customer success and demand generation
  • Provide recommendations on pricing, promotion, and packaging approaches
  • Support Sales with tools and collateral material for new product releases. This includes but is not limited to data sheets, whitepapers, case studies, product demos, and training videos
  • Understand how Spiff differentiates against our key competitors and contribute insights to inform messaging, positioning, GTM strategy, and product roadmap.
  • Work with customers to identify their product needs and ensure the message is communicated to the product team
  • Help identify Beta users for new product releases and work with the product team to relay feedback
  • Conduct market research to inform marketing content and create actionable insights
  • Monitor and regularly report on progress and KPIs, including revenue and business impact

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years combined product and growth marketing experience delivering highly successful user acquisition and engagement strategies
  • Experience working in a high growth environment, with B2B software SaaS products, enterprise is a plus
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into meaningful value for prospects and customers
  • Must be comfortable speaking in front of all levels from entry level employees to the C Suite
  • Ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Execute and utilize market research 
  • Ability to work well with customers and internal teams
  • Takes initiative, keeps organized, pays close attention to detail and can handle multiple projects at once
  • Experience working with several business tools including Asana, Jira, Pendo, Salesforce, and HubSpot (or similar)
  • Extreme ownership of projects from creating all tasks and ownerships, running status update communications, and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time
  • Ability to work with and communicate cross-functionally, including Product, Customer Success, Sales, Sales Enablement, and Implementation teams
