PMP is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team. PMP helps community banks and credit unions enter into the mortgage business. The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role as a member of the product team. In this role, you’ll help lead messaging and positioning for both our Borrower Wallet point of sale solution and our mortgage fulfillment services. You’ll also create go-to-market strategies and launch plans that help PMP grow and scale our business. You will work closely with your product and process team members to analyze market opportunities to inform our strategic roadmap and leverage customer insight to create compelling value propositions.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Develop an expert understanding of PMP’s current and future buyers, their pain points, and how our solutions can help
- Become an expert in positioning PMP products and services against the competition
- Leverage PMP customer relationships to develop references, drive case studies and identify champions
- Obtain, maintain, and share industry, market, and product knowledge with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
- Help position new product features and releases.
- Execute product launch strategy with a cross-functional team; develop objectives and success metrics for the introduction of new offerings. This includes building feature level positioning and competitive landscapes, preparing internal teams, and driving launch activities
- Develop compelling product positioning and messaging informed by user research, market insights, and product expertise
- Develop product marketing assets to support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Be an excellent communicator who can engage and influence internal leaders and teams across functions as well as external stakeholders
- Manage internal product and process intranet portal and internal communications related to product and process updates and resource support
Required Characteristics of Our Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in product marketing, with financial service experience in community banking and/or mortgage, preferred
- Experience launching and driving adoption of new products and services while owning and achieving key success metrics, and driving organizational readiness
- Excellent communicator with experience conveying ideas, building compelling value propositions and developing messaging for product features and services for both client end-users and internal stakeholders
- The ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment to drive collaboration with different teams around a shared goal
- Comfortable developing marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights
- Strong personal organization and project management abilities
- Experience running a go-to-market program that is tied to key business goals and metrics
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, preferably with finance or mortgage lending solutions and fulfillment services
- Bachelor’s degree in business or communications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience working at a fast-growing technology company desired, but not required
- Experience working with customers directly, to learn about their needs and what drives product adoption
- Be forward-thinking, well organized, and have an obsession for detail
SALARY RANGE:
This is an exempt position. Salary range for this role is $95,000 - 115,000 per year
