We are working with an established and growing SaaS company in the Boston area to help fill a newly created Senior Product Marketing role on the team. Our client builds technology that helps large enterprises streamline their processes, creating higher levels of efficiency and reducing costs. Company leadership is experienced, and the current marketing and product marketing teams are composed of some of the best marketing minds in the industry, where collaboration and a very positive work culture is paramount. 


Job Description:


This is a new role on the team created due to company growth. The Senior Product Marketing professional will focus on identifying and driving product marketing initiatives that grow market awareness and competitively position a new line of SaaS based products. It is essential that the candidate be a strong business writer as that skill and prior professional writing experience is needed to be successful in the role.  

Some key responsibilities include:


  •  Conduct market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs.
  •  Collaborate with product management on roadmap positioning. Develop messaging and collaborate with product management on product roadmap.
  • Write and develop messaging for new products.
  • Create content to build awareness and demand generation. 
  • Plan the positioning, overall launch, and measurement of the release(s) of new product(s).
  • Partner with the marketing team to strategize compelling campaigns and help write content to support campaigns.  
  •  Develop the key messaging for Sales to highlight benefits and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct competitive research, create competitive battlecards and training, and conduct win/loss analysis and interviews; train sales team on competitors.


Job Requirements:

  • BA / BS degree 
  • 7-10 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing.
  • Very strong written communication skills.
  • Highly skilled at value-oriented positioning and messaging.
  • Pragmatic Institute certification highly desired.
