Product Marketing Manager

About the Role

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading strategy, planning, and execution of Go-to-Market plans for MoneyLion’s ecosystem of products, features, and programs. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and communications, you help shape how the product is represented, and help it grow a customer base. Working cross-functionally with Product, Design, Paid Acquisition, Lifecycle, and more, you will drive product marketing strategy from beginning to end, with activation plans ranging from top-of-funnel awareness campaigns down to lower-funnel conversion campaigns for growth.

This position is a Hybrid role with 3+ days in New York, NY.

We have two open roles one as a Product marketing Manager and the other will be a Sr. Product Marketing Manager - this will depend upon the experience level of the person.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Discovery

  • Represent the voice of the customer in the product discovery phase by conducting market and user research, analyzing the competitive landscape and consumer trends to inform product development.
  • Partner cross-functionally to define product vision, strategy and contribute to roadmap planning.

Go-to-Market

  • Lead Go-to-Market strategies and ongoing customer growth activities to bring new or enhanced consumer products, features and programs to market. 
  • Define omnichannel infrastructure, manage, and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for new and existing product initiatives including audience definition, product positioning, communications architecture, and launch strategy.

Growth

  • Evaluate product market fit through ongoing user and competitive research, and identify growth opportunities to experiment, optimize or propose changes based on product/feature adoption and utilization rates.
  • Lead and execute in-product promotion strategy to meet business objectives including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention and reactivation.
  • Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape in the financial technology space and incorporate learnings into customer growth initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Creative and Lifecycle teams by developing briefs to activate marketing strategies, providing thoughtful and insights-driven feedback.
  • Take a data-driven approach to campaign strategy focusing marketing investments on the most impactful outcomes and specific KPIs.
  • Help define and operationalize the Product Marketing function alongside the company’s leadership.

About You

  • 5+ years of Product Marketing experience, or managing end-to-end marketing campaigns for acquisition and engagement in the B2C space.
  • Preferred: FinTech, Banking, Consumer finance particularly in the lending or investment areas, and/or startup environment.

  • Results-driven, with a passion for using data to build marketing initiatives that solve business and customer problems (balancing your right and left brain!)

You have…

  • Strong business acumen with experience in setting quarterly OKRs, aligning business objectives with marketing initiatives and setting KPIs to measure success.
  • Experience in stakeholder management with the ability to bring cross-functional teams together to influence product strategy and roadmap planning. 
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities/deadlines, while staying hyper-organized.
