Product Marketing Manager

We are excited to announce that we are seeking a Product Marketing Manager. The Position

This role will work closely with our Research & Learning team, ensuring our learning and research-based products are framed and communicated with real impact and that our sales team have the leads and tools needed to make conversions. You’ll be an integral part of a small but growing marketing team, with the opportunity to make a genuine difference in support of the Association’s continued growth. The role involves marketing to existing members and prospective individual and corporate members internationally across all industry sectors.


In this role, you will regularly collaborate with several teams across the company including sales, member services, and research & learning. This will require strong communication skills, the ability to listen actively, a can-do flexible approach to opportunities and the confidence to challenge when necessary.


The Role

  • Lead on driving interest in our extensive research capabilities
  • Lead on the launch of new products and the promotion of learning products
  • Act as a partner to the Research & Learning team with a focus on understanding their requirements and driving expected outcomes
  • Work with the Business Development team to develop impactful enablement resources and arm the team to better position us against competitors
  • Help drive deeper engagement of our products through a variety of educational content—blogposts, product tips, best practice guides, live streams, and more
  • Develop product messaging and positioning that sets us apart from competitors and demonstrates understanding of our customers’ needs
  • Engage with our members to understand their needs and how this might influence future product development
  • Work with the broader marketing team to launch campaigns that span web, community, social, email, ads, and other marketing channels
  • Work with marketing teams within partner organisations to produce co-ordinated campaigns
  • Travel within the UK twice a month to meet up with other team members.


Your Profile

  • 2+ years’ experience in product marketing role or equivalent, bringing best practice techniques
  • Fluent in English with any other languages a bonus
  • Great writing skills with an ability to create compelling content
  • Be a storyteller – take our customers on journeys
  • An ability to design and execute marketing strategy and plans on an international level
  • Experience working with CRMs, content management tools, SEO, customer journeys, advertising, email marketing and social media
  • Data oriented analytical skills, understanding web analytics, data segmentation and with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and research skills, on top of industry trends, meticulous, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Proven ability to identify target markets and develop informed content and campaign planning
  • Able to adapt to new tools and processes, whilst willing to challenge and bring new ideas to the team
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent technical and Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) are essential
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude, able to work independently in a remote, home-based environment
  • Appetite for growth, solutions focused, curious to learn new things and bring creativity to the role
  • Enthusiastic team player, willing to be flexible with working hours, recognising the global nature of the association, with some late evening or early morning video calls
  • Previous exposure to a membership, not-for-profit organisation beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
