About the role:

As the first Senior Product Marketing Manager at Okera, you will be responsible for messaging, positioning, customer segmentation, go-to-market plans and deliverables and sales enablement materials. This role requires coordinating with product management, engineering, sales as well as internal marketing teams. This role needs someone who is comfortable interacting with engineers as well as sales teams and will report to the vice president of marketing.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, execute and measure dynamic go-to-market campaigns; working cross-functionally with product management, sales, content marketing, customer success and demand generation. 
  • Develop messaging hierarchies and sales enablement assets for key industries, use cases and buyer profiles that reflect Okera’s value proposition.
  • Create industry-leading customer experience and buyer journeys. 
  • Identify and communicate metrics, track campaign progress, and analyze and recommend next steps (e.g. pivoting, realigning, reinforcing motions in play).  
  • Create competitive advantage points, messaging and materials to speed sales. 
  • Be a subject matter expert and go-to resource for the field for Okera positioning. 
  • Identify key virtual and live conferences and events.


Basic Qualifications:

  • You have 8+ years of hands-on Product Marketing experience for an enterprise B2B software product.
  • Understanding of cloud architectures, security and privacy. 
  • Able to synthesize complex information and concepts into clear, concise, and approachable products (presentations, documents, marketecture diagrams, ads, etc).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional programs. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Take ownership of projects and drive them through completion. 
  • Team collaborator. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graphic Design: Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Wordpress, marketing automation (Hubspot), Google.
  • AnalyticsSalesforce administration.
  • An understanding of data access challenges at large, global enterprises. 
  • Passionate, self starter. 
  • Able to deal with ambiguity. 
  • Product nerd.
