Product Marketing Manager

To continue our growth, we are looking for a high-energy, creative and curious Product Marketing Manager to translate the value of our solution to our core user and target buyer personas in scaling tech companies while positioning our product and brand as a global leader in the FP&A space. As a foundational role on our marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape both the marketing function as well as the strategy of the company. 


Responsibilities:


  • Own the relationship between our Product and Marketing teams, collaborating throughout the complete product development cycle from determining product strategy and feature prioritization to competitive analysis, customer research, naming, positioning, packaging, monetization, and launch

  • Translate the value of Abacum to a range of ICPs for different use cases, creating content that is relevant and educational for our prospects and clients.

  • Create sales enablement materials that support our sales team to speed up sales cycles and close business, such as battlecards, 1 pagers, and case studies.

  • Drive our pricing strategy forward, working alongside our leadership team to ensure this aligns with our sales and product-led growth objectives.

  • Co-own account and new feature activation, supporting product onboarding programs to help users make the most out of Abacum, driving a best-in-class product experience and business results.

  • Curate campaigns that enable us to generate high-quality leads, this can include actions relating to different pages on our website, sales decks, documentation, webinars, demos, battlecards, blog posts, and press releases.

  • Position Abacum’s brand in the tech finance world, identifying opportunities for partnerships and collaborations that elevate our market positioning. 


You are:


  • A gifted curator of content: less is more, quality over quantity - copywriting is your forte. 

  • Thirsty to learn about the space: constantly gaining intelligence on existing and new competitors.

  • You have bias for action: you’re a hands-on doer that gets a buzz out of crossing things off your to-do list - nothing stops you from driving execution yourself. 

  • Data-driven: passionate about delighting and growing our user base through data.

  • An exceptional communicator: both internally between departments and externally with clients and partners.

  • Customer-centric: obsessed by the needs of our clients and prospects.

  • A true challenger: you’re not scared to challenge the status quo and say no to requests that don’t align with the team’s objectives.



You offer:


  • 3 or more years experience working in the SaaS, fintech, finance or technology space in a product or marketing role. 

  • A track record of creating high-quality content and campaigns for a B2B technology product that lead to substantial growth in product engagement and MQLs. 

  • Ability to develop, validate, and refine value propositions, positioning, and key product messaging to bring innovative products to market

  • Some experience working with Hubspot, Google Analytics, SEO tools, Outreach and other key tools (or the attitude to be able to learn them quickly). 

  • Experience working with teams in multiple locations and cultures.

  • SEO awareness. We don’t expect you to be an expert, but we would like you to be aware of the SEO basics. 

  • Fluent in English (and able to create high-quality content in English).



Bonus points for:


  • Experience selling specifically into the FP&A / finance function.

  • Experience in external-facing meetings with partners and prospects.

  • Experience setting up paid ads campaigns across different channels. 

  • An eye for design and brand guardianship.
