POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the VP of Product Management and Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for market analysis, messaging, and positioning, and go to market strategy for the product. This role demands an exceptionally talented, exuberant hands-on marketing expert. Success will be measured by the ability to drive awareness, market adoption, and product differentiation.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop compelling product positioning for all segments, develop pricing strategies, and MRDs
  • Develop and deliver product positioning and messaging function through research and analysis of the company’s markets
  • Interact with customers and provide active product feedback internally
  • Analyze market trends, products, and technologies in sustainable building products - determine the attractiveness of new segments
  • Create succinct competitive analysis and messaging.
  • Develop clear and differentiated messages and value proposition to help sales enablement - generate and refine world-class positioning materials
  • Attend industry symposiums, conferences, and trade shows for supporting marketing act ivies and sales enablement

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Architectural or building science background a bonus
  • 5-7 years of product marketing experience in B2B/enterprise space a must
  • Messaging and Positioning Skills: Create modern, unique, and differentiated messaging for the product. Work with corporate marketing to proliferate the messaging to all market channels sales training, webinars, social media, and briefings
  • Powerful Writing: As a team member, you will be asked to create select, high-impact communications and collateral for the various consumer segments. Strong writing skills, with an emphasis on telling a clear story, are a must. You will need to be experienced and gifted in succinctly describing the business value of products and solutions
  • Presentation Skills: In this role, you will present in front of both large and small groups. You should be accomplished and comfortable as a speaker
  • Willing to travel ~ 20%

EDUCATION

B.S. and MBA, or equivalent experience
