Product Marketing Manager

Summary

As our Product Marketing Manager, you’ll be the glue that binds our Go-to-Market strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in Marketing & Sales.


Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Helping management and the go-to-market (GTM) team define and maintain our Category, Target Market & Segments, Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and Personas
  • Conducting 10+ Market and or Win/Loss interviews every 90 days with Product Management to ensure the company is focused on solving the most relevant, pervasive and profitable market problems
  • Work with Product Management to update market and competitor research documentation every 6 months or when needed
  • Helping management and the go-to-market (GTM) team validate new and existing pricing and packaging strategies
  • Helping define go-to-market (GTM) motion, strategies and plans
  • Helping Product Management communicate product roadmap and release plans to internal/external stakeholders
  • Developing product positioning and messaging for our portfolio of products and communicate the value proposition of new products to customer-facing teams
  • Playing an integral role in all of our product updates and releases by ensuring that all sales enablement content, materials, and training are completed
  • Support all customer-facing teams with product marketing requests
  • Collaborating with Product Management and Marketing to coordinate, position, and message new "product" launches
  • Work closely with different teams, including Product Management and customer-facing teams (marketing, sales, customer success, client services)
  • Spend time learning new skills and or developing better processes and or systems, which will create better efficiencies and or results for both yourself and the team.


Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager role in the tech/SaaS industry
  • Proven experience as a product/technology writer
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • High energy with the capability to multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly growing company
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously; can excel under tight deadlines, when needed


Preferred Requirements

  • A thorough understanding of, and interest in, the rental housing and multifamily industry (including what the technologies owner/operators and property management firms use to run their operations)
  • Candidates with a Pragmatic Marketing certification will be given preferential consideration
