We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead our product marketing activities. As a member of the Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. For this role, you will be a creative and quantitative thinker. You should be familiar with various product marketing techniques, like developing product marketing plans, conducting market research and analysis, and creating integrated marketing campaigns. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products as we expand our product portfolio.

 

Responsibilities

  • Study the company’s current products and their benefits for users
  • Provide market insights on development and launch of new products
  • Improve our product marketing capabilities through customer advocacy (case study opportunities, speaking engagements, etc.) and market outreach (webinar topics, account-based marketing, etc.)
  • Create and execute Go-to-Market plans for new products and selling into emerging market segments
  • Craft compelling messages for use across marketing channels and partner with rest of Marketing team to disseminate across email programs, social media, paid search, website, blog articles, landing pages, and ad campaigns
  • Work with greater Marketing and Product Management teams to provide a framework for naming products and a common lexicon for referring to different offerings and deliverables within a cloud-based, SaaS company
  • Create effective marketing strategies and plans in support of promoting our products to new and existing users
  • Translate technical details into benefits for the user
  • Follow and analyze market trends to position products
  • Develop product marketing strategies (messaging to different stakeholders, advertising, product launch, inbound and outbound strategies)
  • Work with internal teams (Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Sales) to gather feedback and refine marketing programs
  • Develop marketing programs around new product features and releases and provide feedback to development teams
  • Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers

 

Key Qualifications, Skills, Competencies

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing or similar role
  • Background in marketing of enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) or a similar model
  • Healthcare marketing experience is a strong plus but not required
  • Experience in market research and analysis
  • Experience in developing and executing product marketing plans and measuring ROI
  • Working knowledge of Marketing and Sales tools like HubSpot and Salesforce.com
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Creativity
  • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
  • Experience using an analytics platform for reporting and analysis
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
