The role


We are looking for our very first Product Marketing Manager to join Sequence. Working closely with our CEO, you'll be essential in building, defining, and shaping the Sequence brand and product positioning. You'll play a critical role in our organic marketing efforts, bringing Sequence's brand and product value proposition to life through traditional and non traditional


You'll wear many hats, supporting a wide breadth of marketing initiatives, including; content creation for emails, website, case studies, whitepapers, and blog posts.

What you'll do

  • Create focused narratives to increase Sequence's visibility as a company leading the way in FinOps, a new industry category.
  • Own and evolve the brand voice for Sequence, speaking to current and potential customers.
  • Develop a short and long-term engaging content strategy, including blog, whitepapers, case studies, video, infographics and webinars.
  • Build persuasive copy that informs, educates, inspires, and attracts new customers.
  • Ensure online content supports SEO goals and brand guidelines.
  • Partner with internal teams to tell our story for new features releases and product improvements.
  • Champion a data-driven approach to content, using customer insight and metrics to measure content effectiveness and drive decision making.
  • Ensure that brand messaging, voice, and customer experience are consistent across all channels and platforms.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor content activities of competitors in the Fintech, SaaS industries.


Who you'll be

  • You possess several years of product marketing experience from within a B2B technology SaaS company, and are passionate about Fintech.
  • You have have previous experience taking a B2B product to market and know how to grow a company's brand, increasing awareness, and driving inbound demand
  • You have developed innovative messaging, positioning and value proposition frameworks for complex problems and new products. You understand how to build innovative messaging, positioning and value proposition frameworks for B2B products
  • You are an excellent written and verbal communicator who presents ideas clearly, concisely and with context.
  • You bring an innate curiosity and ability to think creatively, with a good balance of strategic thinking.
  • You understand how to connect with an audience, using data to help shape strategy and deliver more of what your audience wants.
  • You know how to engage and communicate with product and engineering teams to help solve customer problems.
