Product Marketing Manager

We’re looking for an experienced product marketing manager to help grow our product marketing team and lead product marketing for Tally’s credit card automation app. This role is key to ensure we’re launching effective products and features and launching products and features effectively. You’ll be tasked with deeply understanding the Tally user, product and competitive space and using that understanding to create and execute on integrated go-to-market strategies and ongoing user engagement tactics.


What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with product, design, marketing, user success and other stakeholders
  • Define and refine Tally’s target audience
  • Create content and marketing collateral
  • Develop go-to-market strategies
  • Assist the paid marketing team with new marketing strategies
  • Manage product launches, in collaboration with product, design, engineering and user success
  • Work with product to conduct user research to inform product, growth and marketing initiatives
  • Champion the collaborative role of product marketing at Tally


Who you are:

  • 5 years’ marketing experience, 2-3 in a consumer product marketing role
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction
  • Excitement for solving ambiguous problems
  • Deep user empathy - you’re driven by a passion to make people less stressed and better off financially
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience influencing cross-functional teams
  • Experience conducting, synthesizing and applying user insights, research and testing to marketing strategy
  • Passion for consumer products and experiences, preferably in the financial space
