Job Description
We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial SaaS Product Marketing Manager to join our quickly growing team. In this key role, the candidate will be responsible for creating a product marketing framework from the ground up. That will include an evolving understanding of our target market, a close connection and understanding of our customers' and prospects’ needs and challenges. It will also include tactical execution.
This role will be responsible for developing positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation that ensures that our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams stay aligned.
The role will report into our Chief Growth Officer, and will include close collaboration with marketing leadership and other members of the product and GTM teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop value propositions, messaging, and collateral that supports engagement across our company and sales teams. You will lead the translation of product features & capabilities into impactful product and solutions benefits that demonstrate business value.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to create the strategic and tactical marketing plan to build and execute product marketing programs across multiple audiences. You will analyze and identify market opportunities along with customer pain points to highlight the value AgencyBloc can bring.
- Work closely with the Chief Product Officer and product leaders to deliver positive growth-oriented results for all products and feature sets, current & future.
- Be an expert on our customers, target market, competitors, and product capabilities.
- Provide key messaging materials and assets to the sales and customer success teams to be repurposed for training a rapidly growing team.
- Comfortable presenting as an SME in front of audiences both internal and external.
- Analyze and report KPIs to track impact, optimize and improve our positioning in the Insurance Industry ecosystem.
- Work with the marketing team to create product resources and collateral for internal teams and external users. Examples include one-pagers on specific product functionality and other relevant visuals that clearly communicate the value prop of our products.
- Partner with Product and Marketing Leadership to ensure consistent product positioning across AgencyBloc’s website and landing pages.
- Develop product talk tracks and messaging to support internal stakeholders.
- Partner with Customer Experience to support ongoing training for team members on product messaging, go-to-market, and product functionality.
- Drive new product go-to-market strategy and rollout, working cross-functionally to develop competitive positioning, marketing collateral, pricing, etc.
- Serve as a liaison between GTM teams and product teams to streamline communication and processes.
- Ensuring product commercialization alignment across company departments and teams (e.g. pricing, channel, and marketing readiness, etc.).
Skills/Education/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing SaaS products, ideally in a B2B marketing-led environment.
- Be a great storyteller by demonstrating success building company and product narratives internally and with customers.
- Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and Hubspot and familiar with marketing automation and insight tools such as Google Analytics, ChurnZero, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, customers, and partners. Team player!
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial minded builder - can function independently with little guidance.
- Curious & creative thinker, detail-oriented, quick learner, meticulous.
- Experience with content writing and creative collateral a plus.
- Technical knowledge to understand SaaS products and software integrations.
- Experience in the life & health insurance space a plus.
