Product Marketing Lead

We’re looking for someone who:


Wheelhouse is looking for our first Product Marketing Lead to begin building the foundation for the next generation of success at Wheelhouse.

 

Last year, our product won Innovation of the Year. Yet, in Q1 & Q2, we shipped 40+ new features on a platform that has a 50+ NPS, >1% churn, and a 99% cSAT score.

 

In short, we’ve got a great foundation for the right builder & leader to come in to take our platform to the next level.

 

We’re a small team (20 total), so you’ll report directly to the CEO, and play an outsized roll in everything from product strategy to product launches.

 

While you’ll be joining a company that is strong on storytelling, you will be our storytelling leader - leveraging your verbal, written & visual skills to make sure we both hear & deliver for our customers.

 

What you'll be doing (Primary):

 

  • Storytelling. All day, everyday. 
  • And… all the things that go into great storytelling. Learning, listening, synthesizing, testing, creating, etc. We have great stories to tell. Your task will be making the best of those stories really shine/stand out.
  • Developing amazing Product Positioning
  • Engage with every touch point of our digital product’s journey - from our emails, to our blog, to our website, to our sales materials. Help us say the right thing, in the right way, and the right time, on every step of our customer’s journey, pre & post-sale.
  • Building Sales Enablement Materials that sing
  • Build materials that illustrate our products value, to make our discovery calls shine, and our demos over-deliver. In short, inspire & equip our sales team so they can win over the hearts & minds of even more customers!
  • Blocking & tackling on excellent Go-to-Market plans:
  • The basics! Make sure our launches have pizzazz, clearly articulate our product’s value, and gain visibility across all the right ecosystems. 

 

What you'll be doing (Secondary):

  • Category & Competitive Intelligence: 
  • Be an expert in our category, help us see & sell how the long term evolution of our space is going to unfold. Learn how our stories meld with our companies & products to bring success to our customers. 
  • Success/Account Management Enablement:
  • Work with Customer Success to ensure our products are used in the most effective ways, and help design upsell materials, based on a rapidly improving product.
