Product Marketing Director - Consumer LOS - #1150

The Product Marketing Director - MeridianLink Consumer LOS Portfolio is a critical and high-profile role reporting to the Vice President, Marketing. You will be responsible for the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of MeridianLink’s SaaS solutions including MeridianLink Consumer LOS, MeridianLink Opening, and MeridianLink Portal and DecisionLender, which span the entire digital lending journey from deposit account opening to consumer loan origination. You’ll evangelize your portfolio to our clients and prospects, direct sales team, and channel partners with captivating content, tools, and programs. All the while, laser-focused on driving white space (new clients) and green space (existing clients) growth and driving campaign strategies and execution for Engage clients. In short, you’ll act and be viewed as the “CMO” of your product portfolio.


Responsibilities

-Positioning & Messaging – In collaboration with Product Management, you’ll create the value story of your products. You’ll identify the challenges of our prospects and clients and articulate the value of MeridianLink’s capabilities and solutions bring to them and their financial institutions. Develop compelling positioning and differentiation and express it through informative and engaging content, presentations, campaigns, and sales & marketing tools.

-Go-to-Market Strategy & Commercialization – In collaboration with Product Management, you’ll define, develop, manage and iterate the GTM strategy and tactics for your product portfolio. In partnership with your Marketing colleagues, develop demand creation and generation campaigns that contemplate and incorporate your deep understanding of our prospects and clients and their specific buyers’ journey. You will also have the opportunity to lead cross-functional launches of new enhancements, capabilities, and solutions for your portfolio. 

-Sales & Buyer Enablement – Proactively create and deliver needle-moving content, tools, and training to Sales and channel partners that map to the buyers’ journey and ensure that all stakeholders have the information and content they need when and where they need it to help make well-informed decisions. You’ll become the primary resource for all competitive intelligence and insights for your portfolio by gathering, synthesizing, and making actionable competitor information including product development, positioning, overall GTM strategy.

-Leadership & Mentorship – You’ll have the opportunity to manage and mentor a small team of Product Marketers.


Qualifications

-The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in financial technology, software, or services marketing with at least 5 years in a product marketing or similar role. 

-Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively as well as the ability to execute and effectively drive results.

-Ability to influence and collaborate with internal team members, clients, partners, and prospects.

-Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills; must be detail-oriented with a bias for action

-Team player with a collaborative approach who identifies opportunities to share wins and recognition

-Proven success working with cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class website experience that optimizes the path to conversion and minimizes bounce and drop-off rates.


Education and Background

-Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field of study.  

-Previous experience working with bank marketing software or similar SaaS platforms required.

-Previous experience working with organizations that sell to banks and credit unions required.

-Previous agency experience preferred.

-Excellent PC skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
