Product Marketing & Campaign Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY


The Product Marketing Specialist will join our Engagement Marketing Team. The team is responsible for developing and executing a broad set of engagement efforts across the K12 education market including thought leadership and promotional campaigns driving sales of professional learning and professional development products and services. 


As part of the product marketing team, the product marketing specialist role will report to the Director of Engagement along with another product marketing specialist and is responsible for crafting product messaging, developing marketing and promotional campaigns, supporting sales representative territory campaign management with product and promotional messaging, analyzing the competitive landscape, defining campaign OKRs, and launching and supporting new products. Candidates should have a background in B2B marketing and samples of high-quality content for products and features. Your focus will be to translate a deep understanding of education market dynamics to define, prioritize, develop, coordinate, and track marketing campaigns that resonate with our key districts and education segments. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Define and implement inbound-and account-based marketing programs that drive new district acquisition and encourage ongoing engagement with clear product positioning and launch strategies.
  • Oversee, measure, and optimize integrated campaigns that support product awareness, lead generation, and audience engagement goals.
  • Create content to convey the benefits of our products to various audiences in sales enablement and other documents, product videos, blog posts, email campaigns, and the website.
  • Co-lead the go-to-market activities for upcoming product launches by building out marketing materials and strategic promotional tactics.
  • Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage.
  • Partner across marketing, product, and sales groups to drive cross-functional, cross-channel marketing efforts to meet the growth objectives associated with ongoing product and partnership initiatives.
  • Be the pulse of the market through research, analysis, qualitative feedback, and direct engagement with various internal and external stakeholders to validate our solutions against competitive challenges.
  • Collaborate on developing training and enablement content for our sales and customer success teams, as well as our expanding partner network.
  • Align with Product and Sales teams on strategy and messaging.
  • Participate in a weekly meeting with the marketing team and others, as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related area.
  • Experience creating content that aligns with company style and brand guidelines.
  • Excellent writer (have sample links ready).
  • Excellent oral communication skills (including in-person, phone, and email).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO content, Google Analytics, and other search engine-type software.

  • Ability to distill complex, educational information into easily digestible marketing content.
  • Efficient, highly productive multi-tasker; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, “get it done” environment. Willing to learn new, exciting things and propose new ideas.
  • Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams and executing high-impact go-to-market campaigns.
  • Superior project management skills: results-focused with superb execution and follow-through; highly detail-oriented.
  • Exposure to any data or analytics training, go to market launches.


Experience


  • Minimum 3 years of product marketing or growth marketing experience in a technology company. B2B Experience at a marketplace company is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in originating and executing marketing campaigns is a plus.
  • Ability to distill complex, educational information into easily digestible marketing content.
