Who you are

Brightwheel is seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on marketer who will own go-to-market strategy and execution for the next phase of the brightwheel platform. The ideal candidate will combine jedi growth skills and a business owner mindset to drive growth from the ground up. All brightwheel team members must demonstrate strengths in our core values: Ownership, Empathy, Learning & Results.


What you’ll do:

  • As the first marketer in our newest product area, own all aspects of go-to-market strategy and execution
  • Ideate, test, measure, learn, and iterate to find big growth levers—quickly but thoughtfully
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering on experiments and roadmap
  • Lead and partner cross-functionally to keep the initiative moving forward at all times and achieve goals
  • Serve as the expert on the customer, extracting insights to deliver a great user experience and fuel growth

Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities:

  •  8+ years of experience in marketing, preferably with experience in acquisition and growth
  • Experience in management consulting, general management, or brand management a plus
  • Startup experience a plus
  • Super-strength in critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Curiosity, creativity, and drive to make the impossible happen
  • Highly strategic, but able and eager to get hands dirty, work with data, and build from scratch
  • Work well in ambiguity and newness; thrive when there is no playbook
  • Grittiness and scrappiness; self-solver
  • Impeccable program management and organization skills
  • Experienced with customer research and turning consumer insights into action
