Industry and Solutions Marketing at Hyper Growth Data + AI Company!

Databricks is an Andreessen Horowitz backed company in the data and AI space recently recognized by Forbes and LinkedIn as the #5 best start-ups! We're experiencing hyper growth and looking to expand our industry and solutions marketing team (part of the broader product marketing org). Product marketing, industry marketing or solutions marketing experience desired.


As an Industry Solutions Marketing Manager, you will drive messaging and GTM programs for 1-2 key industry segments (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Public Sector). In this position, you will work closely with GTM, sales and marketing teams to enable sales and create awareness and demand generation programs to grow pipeline for our industry solutions. You will also evangelize Databricks and drive thought leadership content through editorials, blogs, white papers, customer case studies, and industry and partner events.

 

Outcomes 

  • Develop messaging and content deliverables that articulate Databricks platform capabilities, differentiating value, and key benefits for 1-2 priority verticals
  • Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to develop solution oriented campaigns for technical practitioners and business leaders
  • Create core industry and solution messaging and content for digital programs, field marketing, sales engagements, and channel marketing
  • Create targeted content to drive awareness in the industry including infographics, ebooks, articles, blogs, videos and other customer-facing materials to build awareness, drive demand generation and arm the sales team.
  • Work closely with customers to build compelling content for high-profile speaking engagements, customer case studies, videos, branding campaigns, etc.
  • Ability to analyze customer and market requirements and trends, in addition to field requirements and deliver high-impact sales tools, enablement and training e.g. sales plays, sales presentations, battlecards, cheat sheets, ROI tools, etc.
  • As needed, own and execute best-in-class, timely product or feature launches to help customers, press, and analysts understand why what we’re doing is valuable to the industry
