About this role:  

The Head of Growth Marketing will be instrumental in presenting Teamstand to the market and setting the stage for explosive growth. 

As the founding member of Teamstand’s Marketing practice, you will launch and orchestrate the digital channels (referral, search, and social) to spread market awareness across industries and shepherd user enrollment. Working closely with leadership, Product, Revenue, and other global teams, you will design a scalable marketing operation while executing campaigns, creating content, and building the brand. As the product matures, you’ll recruit and develop the team that catalyzes our product-led and business-to-business growth. 

You will start on the front lines, learning as much as possible about our product and ideal customers to understand how to spark repeatable growth at the top of the funnel. Expect to own in our shared success and thrive in an unstructured environment. 

This position will report to the Head of Revenue Strategy and Operations, and will be based either out of our NYC headquarters or remote with occasional travel to New York City to collaborate with the team. 


Here’s what you’ll be doing:  


  • Weave product messaging and digital content into appropriate narratives to reach the right people at critical points in their buyer journey 
  • Run persona-based integrated marketing campaigns to generate customer engagement across digital channels including referral, search, and social media 
  • Design a user referral experience that produces compound, self-sustaining growth within networks of our ideal customer profile 
  • Build a website and supporting content that resonates with the challenges of potential users to spur organic and paid search traffic 
  • Cultivate a social media presence in target persona networks 
  • Recruit and develop a marketing team to grow and support the user journey from awareness to customer 
  • Collaborate with the Head of Revenue Strategy to identify and measure leading indicators of marketing performance and downstream attribution 
  • Design and conduct experiments to improve channel and content effectiveness 
  • Curate brand standards and strategy that lay a foundation for category leadership 
  • Manage digital marketing budget and supporting technology 


What you bring: 


  • Demonstrated experience leading and implementing effective marketing campaigns, with an emphasis on referral and search channels. 
  • Proven, full-funnel B2B SaaS experience driving traffic-to-revenue 
  • Proven ability to plan and execute details of your own projects and programs 
  • A pulse on new trends in the market to keep our social presence competitive
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in growth marketing, ideally in a product-led businesses   
  • 2+ years building, leading, and developing high-performance teams 
  • Strong familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce) 
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree a plus
