Director, Product Marketing (Industry)

The Director, Industry Product Marketing, will report to the AVP, Product Marketing. As part of a fast-growing company, you will be responsible for industry positioning and go-to-market messaging for AI-driven multi-enterprise supply chain solutions in specific industry areas and associated vertical segments. You have detailed knowledge of one or more industries including consumer goods, industrial, high tech or logistics. You are a thought-leader and storyteller who excels at conveying complex concepts, challenges and solutions in terms of tangible business value for the industries you support. You are determined, driven and excited about the prospect of changing what is possible in supply chain and conveying what this means for different industries.


In this role, you’ll work closely with subject matter experts in Product Marketing, Sales, Marketing and Product Management to create content with industry-specific context that is compelling and easy to understand – whether buyers are looking to improve a single functional process, enable complete digital transformation or anything in between. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Formulate and convey the value proposition of E2open offerings to the external market for the specific industries and sub-segments in your area
  • Translate complex industry challenges, e2open solutions and differentiating features into compelling messages within your targeted industries that companies will understand, relate to and care about
  • Serve as the industry expert for E2open offerings
  • Provide Sales and Marketing the necessary knowledge and materials (including customer presentations, web content, marketing materials, white papers, case studies, competitive analysis, etc.) to attract more, sell more and close more deals
  • Work closely with Field Marketing to define and support customer-specific and general market campaigns aimed at growing pipelines and accelerating sales 
  • Influence the product roadmap by providing ongoing market insights and feedback from clients and sales teams
  • Provide industry context to help align sales, marketing and product plans to drive demand, adoption and overall success


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years in Product Marketing for enterprise supply chain management software providers; experience with SAP, Oracle or Blue Yonder is a plus
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of supply chain management business processes and applications in one or more industries including consumer goods, industrial, high tech, semiconductors, automotive, or logistics
  • Combination of strong communication and writing skills, business acumen and technical proficiency
